All genocide is political, there is no other motivation for it (at the top).

I would hope that at least some Christians would be protecting and hiding Muslims like they did Jews in Nazi occupied territories, rather than rounding them up for extermination. Many of my co-workers, colleagues, and friends are Muslims. I would definitely be helping them escape persecution.
