Yes, the GOP will probably take the Senate....but

The GOP will crow and plume its feathers and then go right back to be the party of obstruction and NO.

Hold on now. You've had the Senate since 2009. Just what have they done? And just who are YOU calling the "party of NO?" How many bills passed by the Republican house are sitting under Harry Reid's (soon to be vacated) desk? Funny, the Senate has acted more as an obstruction than the house.

Since 2007*

Here's the point of all of this: The republicans WILL take the Senate and keep (add) the House. This will obviously force the democrats to vote yea or nay on legislation because Mitch Mcconnell (or whoever is chosen to be majority leader) WILL do the exact opposite of Harry Reid - and actually DO his job. Democrats will have no choice but put their votes on the record.

By 2016 - America will see where these Liberal Nazis stand. Game, Set, Match.

Actually, what will happen is that the REpublicans will pretty much go Full Retard, remind everyone why they threw them out in 2006 and 2008.

So let's be honest. The GOP managed to avoid talking about social issues, didn't nominate anyone who was obviously crazy and managed to actually avoid putting any adjectives in front of the word "Rape", and they barely eeked out victories in states Mitt Romney won in 2012.

poor socialist joe ...

it must sting.

Not really. When you have guys like Bruce Rauner promising us they will protect a woman's right to choose, you gu ys have already lost.

you can predict the future at the same time you are changing the subject..you're getting pretty tricky now joe..LMAO...
got next weeks lottery numbers oh mighty savant?

Guy, most people (incluing myself) predicted the GOP would take the senate this year.

Now, I give the GOP credit. After 2012, I listed 8 things on how they could bounce back, and they took about half of them to heart. They stopped talking about abortion, they stopped letting Hate Radio call the tune for them, they dropped the subject of Gay marriage.

And they barely won an off-year election in states they shouldn't have lost to start with in 2008.

LIke I said, this is the Special Olympics Midterms. Even if you win, you're still retarded.

Put down the bong. Social issues were on the ballot. Wendy Davis and Sandra Fluke both lost their races did they not? Insult to injury, the Davis seat flipped to a R tea party candidate if I'm not mistaken.

The dems got slaughtered in races across the country.. Chin up. Kim Kardashian tweeted that she is standing with Obama.

Not all is lost.

Larry J. Sabato s Crystal Ball

"The public’s unfavorable view of the GOP, which is even greater thanthe disgust with Democrats, will likely keep the party from achieving a true sweep — and suggests the hard work ahead by the GOP in Congress and the eventual presidential nominee in 2016."

Ironically, the GOP is praying for low voter turnout and hoping apathy will rule the day. So, the GOP is more and more depending on either obstructing the right to vote or hoping that no one will vote. That is one of their last chances for survival.
So democrats usage of slave chains didn't work, war on women didn't work, fear of a nice guy impeachment didn't work, calling out the minority to vote didn't work, Michelle obama you can have fried chicken didn't work, so now we have this. If people weren't disgusted with the democrats they would have went out and voted for them with all of the push for them to do it. Normal people don't vote for one side that they hate and find unfavorable unless the side they support is much worse. Democrats 90 to 95% of the time will vote for a democrat or just stay home.

Except in most of the important races, they really didn't talk about social issues at all.

The right wing has cravenly surrendered on gay marriage, and guys like Bruce Rauner and Bob Dold had to insist they'd support a woman's right to choose.

"Hate" Radio help drive the campaigns and cash coming in for candidates like Ernst, Tillis and others that were in tough races.

This post of yours shows you don't listen to conservative talk shows or you would know that the talkers got out the vote.

Nobody listens to Hate Radio anymore. That's the point.

For instance, WLS, the Hate Radio station here in Chicago, has dropped to 20th place in the ratings. (Back in the 1990's, it was consistantly in the top 5)

All in all liberals in media would sell their mothers if they could get the ratings that the combo of Rush, Levin, Hannity and Savage get.

I listen to WLS. After Levin they have on my favorite guys from Red Eye Radio. Station comes in usually about 6:30 on a good night.

So I'm picking up national talkers. The local ratings wouldn't matter to die hard radio fans like myself. People listen all across the US.

Out of Fargo I get Rush and Hannity back to back during the day. Have an awesome talker up here early in the morning Charles Adler.

Trust me. I know how hard they drove the vote across the country because I listen almost all my waking hours. I have no television. On dial up. But my old Grundig keeps me informed.

Uh, no, not really.

The most telling evidence of this is the fact that Rush Limbaugh's January move from KFI-AM, 640, to KEIB-AM, 1150, in Los Angeles — where KFI once was the No. 1 station in the market — failed to make a difference in either station's ratings. KFI has remained mostly flat and sits at No. 10 in the market, with a 2.9 rating, while KEIB, which changed its call letters to reflect Limbaugh's slogan, "excellence in broadcasting," has maintained about a 0.5 rating since the station rebranded in January.

I will make this short and sweet by referencing a movie called "Vegas Vacation" with Cousin Eddie....
