But even though per capita GDP is the barometer you chose to measure the gradual rise of capitalistic success, it doesn't show the distribution of wealth. We know today that most of that wealth is accumulated in the hands of a small number of people.

The OXFAM illustration makes a better statement of wealth distribution than your world GDP graph does and makes the words of Juares and Beckert ring true.
