I look forward to him trying to prove that he isn't a racist.Zimmerman filed a suit against NBC. He should easily win that one for mega bucks.
IMO, it is a publicity stunt designed to cause doubt in the murder jury's mind.

He is not charged with being a racist so there is nothing to prove.

He is suing NBC for labeling him a racist. He has to prove he isn't a racist to win his suit.

R U really that stupid?
The criminal jury will know nothing of the civil case.
All about NBC doctoring the 911 call and fraudulently claiming it was real.
Pay attention.
I see that once again you speak without researching. He is not charged with being a racist so there is nothing to prove.

No he isn't. He is suing for them doctoring the 911 call and POSSIBLY libeling him.
No, all he has to do is prove what THEY DID to him.

"NBC saw the death of Trayvon Martin not as a tragedy but as an opportunity to increase ratings, and so set about to create the myth that George Zimmerman was a racist and predatory villain," the lawsuit says.

He is suing NBC for defamation based on the deliberate altering of audio - which NBC fired 4 people over. He only needs to prove that NBC altered the audio in an attempt to defame him, which they have acknowledged that they did.
{The defamation lawsuit accuses the network of sensationalizing and manipulating a potential "racial powder keg that would result in months, if not years, of topics for their failing news program, particularly the plummeting ratings for their ailing Today Show."
The edited recordings included multiple deletions, removed intervening dialogue between Zimmerman and the dispatcher, and juxtaposed unrelated content "to make it appear that Zimmerman was a racist, and that he was racially profiling Trayvon Martin," the lawsuit says.
NBC aired various edited versions of the 911 call on March 19, 20, 22 and 27, the suit says.
The suit accuses the network of malice, highlighting correspondent Ron Allen's segment on "The Today Show" on March 27.}

He has to prove that he isn't a racist, and as a bonus, that he isn't a predatory villain. That's how defamation lawsuits work. Do a little research, Eunuch.

In order to win a civil lawsuit for libel or slander, you will need to be able to prove that the statement (either written or spoken) was false. In other words, you have to demonstrate in court that the statement has no element of truth. This can be far more difficult than you would imagine, so it's important that you pay attention to this point.

Rati, you're not terribly bright, but in this case he simply needs to prove that what NBC broadcast was false - which is simple to do - since even NBC acknowledges that it was false..
He has to prove that he isn't a racist or a predator. That's the way defamation lawsuits work.
Read his lawsuit. He has to prove that he isn't a racist or a predator. That's the way defamation lawsuits work.
Nope, he needs to prove that the claim was false - which it is since it is fraudulent. Whether Zimmerman is a racist or not is irrelevant to the fact that NBC purposefully broadcast a false and falsified audio segment for the specific purpose of defaming the character of Zimmerman.
NBC will settle, since they have zero chance of winning the suit.
Read his lawsuit.
NBC didn't claim he was racist, or a predator, btw.
But since Zimmerman is claiming they did make that claim, he HAS to prove that he isn't a racist or a predator to win his suit.
That's how defamation lawsuits work.
You are free to continue looking like a fool.
