2/3 of Americans-Afghanistan Not Worth Fighting

Wrong.
All Moslems believe in Sharia law, which has nothing to do with flying airplanes into buildings.
And it is only flying airplanes into buildings that is a problem.
And no, Sharia law is no one's primary objective.
The primary objective of the Taliban was to get liberation from the Soviets, and then a free and popular government.

My argument had nothing to do with airplanes. You are just a loon with a vivid imagination who constantly sees things that aren't there and hears things no one said.

And no "all Muslims" don't believe in Sharia law and government killing and mutilating people for minor crimes, some not being able to work or drive or wear normal clothing. You're just fast and furious making shit up now

Iraq invaded and annexed Kuwait which was essentially an attack on the United States given the national security implications for the United States and other countries around the world.

The concept that for it to be an attack on the United States it has to take place within the physical borders of the United States is from 1812 and died in the early 20th century during World War I. This is the 21st century and any attack to the global economy or global environment can be seen as an attack on the United States.
So we invaded Iraq because of something that happened 15 years prior?

That wasn’t what the Bush Admin claimed

That’s what our Kremlin troll does

I probably already been said before,:

  • Round up all the expensive equipment and transport it out or to a safe location
  • Start making arrangements for troops and civilians to orderly and quietly withdraw.
  • Make sure that those who will be subject to execution for collaborating with "infidels" have asylum somewhere and a way to leave safely and quietly.
  • DON'T ANNOUNCE TO THE FUCKING WORLD THAT WE ARE BUGGING OUT UNTIL THE BUGOUT IS COMPLETE!!!!
You can spin this all you want. This is the worst military fuck up in the history of humanity.

If this level of cluster-fuck retreat is the way things are going to end in the future, I don't ever want to hear even the mere suggestion of a foregin war and I want to sever all alliance to assure it. This shit should cause a complete revolt and secession/civil war in the U.S. if it ever happens again.
Point one was generally done and is one of the reasons the Afghan army collapsed in such fashion.
Point 2, US tried that and the Afghan Government massively complained, they felt it was a defeatist attitude. Rem: US was supporting the Afghan army at the time, not undermining them..
Point 3, Same as Point 2 unfortunately... A mass evacuation, look what happened when the leader left
Point 4, he had too... He was meant to be gone by April and made the announcement in May... Biden was tearing the arse onit by staying any longer... Taliban held all the cards by the end, they had the military advantage and were more than willing to get in a street war with Americans.. Only thing stopping them was that they would have to fix the mess...

The mission scope was way out of control...

Original Mission get AQ and OBL... Get the fuck out...

Went from there to Nation Building...

Yeah, I do. Another great moment for America.

Even after the Afghan president ditched the country, Biden did not start evacuating American citizens.

How stupid is that?
US was evacuating Americans along...

By the way, how many Americans have been killed in the evacuation so far? ZERO

Taliban are giving them escorts to get out of the country..

That was not a legal excuse under intl law for the US to attack iraq. Gulf War I was supported by a UN resolution authorizing force if Saddam didn't get out.

I don't think Gulf War II was ever legal, and it was a worse clusterfuk than even what Biden has engineered in his precipitous "run away" that resembles a Monte Python Sketch.

The invasion of Afghan was legal because any nation has the right to defend itself w/o any UN resolution. And the Taliban refused to give us OBL even after OBL and AQ claimed credit for 9-11. But the question was always .... how long do we require our soldiers and marines to stay?

So, what's going on in Iraq? It hasn't fractured into Kurd/Sunni/Shia. Saddam's cronies haven't taken over. No more blood is being spilt than in any other Arab shithole. They have actually got some primitive Democratic institutions.

The clusterfuck that was isn't today. The clusterfuck today is Biden's and Biden's alone.

But the question will be, and it'll be around through at least 24 politically and longer morally, why didn't we take the interpreters and anyone else whom we'd vetted back when they went to work for us? Was there a reason we couldn't stay another month or so or however long to get these guys and their immediate families on planes to the US?

I think the answer is pretty clear. Faux news with Ingrahm and Carlson, not to mention Herr stephen miller, were already accusing Biden of "bringing in more refugee." And if we brought in 20K or so, it seems a pretty good chance at least one would be a terrorist no matter how much we vetted them.

So Biden made a political calculation to leave those poor bastards to their fates. And that will be pretty horrible for them. I'd say it's not Biden's fault we were nation building in Afghan, but did Obama ever have a plan to get out? Obama was more comfortable telling police they were mean than telling our military "children" they were chancing death and dismemberment for a reason to attack foreigners in their own countries.

That is ridiculously ignorant.
Bin Laden did not even speak Peshto, so could not even talk to Afghans without a translator.
The Taliban were a coalition of radical students and conservative rural Aghan clerics, and there was not a single Arab in the Taliban.

My god you're dumb

Gulf War II DID fracture Iraq, and the shia conducted a geoncide that created Isis. But that wasn't really the point I was discussing, and not with you. The issue was whether there was a legal justifaction for any of: Gulf War I, Gulf War II and invading Afghan. The answers were yes, no, yes ... respectively.

Neither Iraq nor Afghanistan ever even remotely supported any attack on any other country.
The US simply was lying.
There were no WMD in Iraq, and the Taliban were not in on secret crimes by bin Laden.
Again, we LIED!

You're ill informed. Stay away from Huffpo and other left loon sites, you look ridiculous

I agree there is no one vision of Islam that fits all muslims.
