2015 will be warmest on record; 2016 could be warmer still

With December coming in as a very warm month, this year is going to blow all previous years out of the water.

What was the temp in....oh say 534 AD? Or 534 BC? Since data has started being kept on weather and temps it is a mere hiccup in the grand scheme of things

LOL.........when your asshole scorches, your tongue blisters, the oceans move inland and all the crops die we'll check back with you about your hiccups.

Do you really think Sassy will live that long?

I figure she'll be spirited away to a pleasant place but I'm not so sure about you...

Stop being a hysterical old fool.

Campbell does tend to embellish...:disbelief:

 ... I'm feeling parched, share a brew Sassy Lass Darlin..?

Campbell has to show his charming side to be invited...:eusa_snooty:

Its not even a hiccup... All proxy data, with which old socks is making his claim, are at a minimum an average of 100 years. The 0.03 deg C rise over the average is well within the +/-0.2 deg C error bars of the equipment used over the last 50 years and irrelevant. If we include the last 180 years of equipment used to record temps that expands to +/- 1.0 deg C (2 deg C) error bounds.

When we include that over 83% of all ocean data is made up drivel of a model which has no predictive powers and fails outside of 12 hours, the confidence level of the data is ZERO...

This is all hype and lies that no self respecting scientist would claim as being true with any confidence. The satellite data shows how far off the adjusted GISS, HCN crap is.

Seriously. So what? So it's the warmest on record?

OR more precisely, what is the NORMAL and EXPECTED temperature of the earth?

The planet's warming or cooling is the wrong debate. The only debate is if man is causing it or even aiding in it. Because if he isn't, which is likely the correct answer, then there is nothing we can do but enjoy the mild weather.

I can show that micro climates have changed due to land use while the global average is relatively unchanged. Its pure arrogance to think man can cause long term changes.

A little asteroid or volcanic eruptions could end our lives on earth in short order and they are fully more destructive than man could ever be. But they want us to worry about something that is a nonissue.

Old rocks thinks we had sattelites orbiting earth in 1902 when in fact a few old guys wearing bifocals were checking and recording temperature to a tenth of a degree using a thermometer

Rational people, of course, just chuckle at how stupid the deniers are. Some people understand basic statistics. Those who fail at it, those are deniers.

We could try to explain the statistics to Bear, or Sassy or Billy, but all of them are literally too stupid to ever understand. You can't teach a chimp to talk, no matter how much you try.

Deniers just need to understand that they're not ignored and laughed at because of a socialist conspiracy. They're ignored and laughed at because they're profoundly stupid people.

Stupid people? What kind of fool would think those records are accurate?

What kind of fool would think proxys blended with thermometer readings, in the early 1900s, would be statitisticly accurate?

Who would jump up and down over a few ocean temperature readings in 1870 and fill in the blanks all the way to Argo in 2004?

The fool is you and your cult mammoth.

Ok, you think you're one of the smart people.

Prove it. Answer a very simple question.

Should the earth be warming? Simple yes or no answer.

We've conducted experiments to demonstrate magnetism can create an electric current, we've conducted countless experiments to demonstrate anti-particles, but none can show a single experiment demonstrating how 120ppm of CO2 will increase temperature or change the climate of planet Earth.

AGW: It just's not science, folks
