All it's going to take is conservatives and independents to get out and vote for those opposed to socialism and progressive candidates. This has to be a presidential year turnout to overcome the $$$$ being put up by Soros and his ilk.

Just wait until Tax Day rolls around and even more workers realize they have hundreds of dollars in extra income to inject back into the economy.

It’s no wonder even the left-wing Priorities USA claims Democrat messaging “must change.” Unless Lamb and other Democrats heed that advice, they’ll be swept away by the Trump economy.

Be realistic:
The Republicrats will be VERY lucky if they don't lose control of the HoR, it's the nature of the pendulum and first term Presidents and their mid-terms. As far as the Senate goes the GOP has a tremendous advantage on the map, so they're probably pretty safe as long as they don't go off the deep end.

Of course given the fact that the Demopublicans don't have anything on their campaign slate right now other than "Trump Sucks" and "Tax Cuts are Bad", they might just blow their golden opportunity to take back the HoR.:dunno:

... and "Tax Day" 2018 doesn't mean anything since it's for tax year 2017 which isn't affected by Tax Reform.

Reagan gave them a tax break and he STILL took a bath in the midterms in 1982.

Bush gave them a tax break and he still took a bath in the midterms of 2006.

ANd Trump isn't Reagan or Bush.

/——/ Dems are starting to eat their own: Dem-olition Derby: Glut of candidates has party at war with itself

By Joseph Weber | FoxNews.com
Published February 26, 2018

The throngs of Democratic candidates jumping into the 2018 congressional contests in hopes of 'resisting' President Trump have in turn fueled a nasty war within the party -- a fight that has seen incumbents scorned as primary fields swell.

This was witnessed most recently over the weekend, when the California Democratic Party declined to endorse Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s bid for a sixth term.

Because of President Trump, we no longer have "Politics as usual." He's changed the rules and the DimocRATs are going to be the losers.

um, actually, no. You don't do well in midterms with a 39% approval rating.

It just doesn't happen.

Much as I have to agree with Fox, the Dems are probably well positioned for the House, but they have a tougher road to hoe in the Senate merely because almost no GOP seats are up this cycle (Because Dems did well in 2006 and 2012).

But the people might just be fed up enough with Trump and his shenannigans to change that.

Here's a sign you guys have a problem. So many of your guys are retiring.

Uh-Huh, if the outcome boils down to which side is able to harvest the most copious crop of wishful thinking, you're all good.

Personally I would say the odds on control of the HoR slightly favor the Democrats if for no other reason than the history of mid-terms.

Yeah Deep State RINOs can't have their way anymore. Good riddance.

You mean tax day 2019, since the tax cuts are for 2018 so people will not reap the benefits when they file till 2019

Trumps crazy Base will push through the far right candidates and their primaries. They won’t have a chance in the general election. Just look what happened in Alabama.

Every single prediction that the left has made about Trump has been dead wrong. True, the "norm" says the GOP will lose seats, but even that hasn't been 100% the case. I don't know what will happen, but I do know two things: 1, that the left has been wrong almost every time about Trump, and 2, that the left lives in a fantasy world of their own making.

There is no logical rational fact based argument that can be currently made that supports the Republicans winning the 2018 elections,
so any babbling to the contrary can only be accurately described as baseless cheerleading.
