Celebrating the 4th of July is an American tradition but holiday traffic might feel like an American tradition as well.

Awesome! Think of the carbon footprint!
It is really nice to see all the green plants being fed around this time.

CO2 myth busted: Why we need more carbon dioxide to grow food and forests
As it turns out, CO2 is desperately needed by food crops, and right now there is a severe shortage of CO2 on the planet compared to what would be optimum for plants. Greenhouse operators are actually buying carbon dioxide and injecting it into their greenhouses in order to maximize plant growth.

The science on this is irrefutable. As just one example, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food says:
So drive to save the planet.

China has 40,000 kilometers of high speed rail lines and growing, when we haven't even started yet.
Embarrassing to say the least.

I am hoping more people this year will appreciate what the 4th of July really means. Can anyone remember what 2 presidents and another founding father died on the 4th of July? Was it Washington and Adams and perhaps Benjamin Franklin?
