59% Favor National Health Insurance

Jeebus, hater dupes believe a pile of Pubcrappe. No Pub horror about O-care has ever happened, or will.

Every other modern health system has over 80% approval, and ours had 34% in 2007, after which the hater dupes "decided" ours was good LOL.

America's health system is the No.1 most expensive in the world, and 35th in availability to it's own citizens.

Obamacare's low cost insurance is the first step in making U.S. health care available to all U.S. citizens.

In Canada we are two tier. Private and public. And we have an ongoing conversation about more privatization.

On the other hand, Britain's health care system is so scandal ridden, horrific, pathetic I could go days on end ripping apart the NHS.

A discussion is worthwhile. France and Switzerland have the best models. Obamacare doesn't come near them.

I hear millions of Brits are dying every day because of the bad Government health insurance.

Wish I could do something to help.

:(

A friend of mine and his brothers went hiking in Switzerland last summer, in the Lauterbrunnen section and one of his brothers fell and broke his leg. The bill at the local hospital was $700: MRI, doctor's evaluation, cast and Rx. Ah, yes, the Swiss are just a bunch of bed wetters.

A broken leg would be $15,000 in the U.S. system.

:)

"If you have to rely on your health insurance carrier, you will get completely screwed over if you experience an expensive, protracted medical problem. '

That's ALREADY fixed...by O-care, along with lifetime caps and cut-offs...even the dupes are starting to get it...

The debate over the role of government in health care insurance continues to not rage in Canada and the UK .

If socialized healthcare is so bad, then why haven't the voters of Canada and the UK voted to scrap them and implement the system of the US?

You didn't answer my f____ing question. So f____ing what if YOU don't like the Candadian and UK health care systems? I didn't ask YOU. Who cares what YOU think. I know I don't care about your opinion, that's for sure. I care about the opinion of the people who live with the socialized systems. After decades of existence, they are still with them, and there's no sign of any real opposition, save for some loser on the US message board named Tinydanc, who thinks I asked for his opinions instead of asking why entire nations didn't turn against socialized health care.

She lives in Canada, dumb shit! You are a real fucking dumb shit!

Limbaugh tells the tea baggers all they need to know about Obamacare:

"REAL Americans are self insured, and if they aren't, they should just go to the ER and let the other suckers pay their bill"

:)

Ted Cruz made his own promise of a tsunami against Obamacare in 2 weeks.

Only the number of House repeals of Obamacare is greater than the tsunami's the tea party has promised over the past 3 years.

Here's a freshman from a tea party that can't get up enough wind to make a good fart .... getting on the juvenile "tsunami" horse - and riding it right off a cliff.

God what idiots this party creates ....

11. As you may know, a bill that makes major changes to the country's health care system became law
in 2010. Based on what you have read or heard about that legislation, do you generally favor or
generally oppose it?

12. (IF OPPOSE) Do you oppose that legislation because you think its approach toward health care is
too liberal, or because you think it is not liberal enough?
QUESTIONS 11 AND 12 COMBINED

Favor 43%
Oppose, too liberal 35%
Oppose, not liberal enough 16%
No opinion 7%

The net is 59% of Americans want Obamacare as is - or stronger with a Single Payer provision.

59%

Why the GOP has been failing miserably trying to stop it.

Obamacare IS, and will be, the law of the land

:)

then why are the unions bitching about not wanting it? why has congress made itself exempt from it? why has the employer mandate been moved out a year?

obamacare is a piece of shit legislation that NO ONE wants once they realize what it will do to them.

If its so fucking great, why doesn't it apply to obama and his staff?

why hasn't Reid brought one of those repeal bills to the senate for a vote? Wouldn't a senate vote against the house passed bill make the republicans look foolish?

Reid won't let a repeal bill be voted on in the senate because he knows that many dems are up for reelection next year and a vote against repeal would lose the election for many of them because their constituents want obozocare killed.

Most voters still don’t like President Obama’s national health care law, and more voters than ever favor buying health insurance across state lines to increase consumer options.

Forty-two percent (42%) of Likely U.S. Voters have at least a somewhat favorable opinion of the health care law, while 53% view it unfavorably, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. This includes 18% with a Very Favorable view of the law and 40% with a Very Unfavorable one. (To see survey question wording, http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/questions/pt_survey_questions/july_2013/questions_health_care_update_july_26_27_2013.)

congress and the administration have a private cadilac health plan that is totally funded by the taxpayers--they pay nothing or very little for it.

they do not want obamacare because it will cost them more and the care will not be as good.

even the unions (big obama supporters) have come out against obamacare because the dumbasses finally realized that it will screw their members.

Oh, so they're not exempt from having health insurance. That was all just a load of BS from you. got it!

No they haven't. Being granted temporary waivers does not mean anyone is against the program, just that more time is needed to get in to compliance.

I never said they were exempt from having health insurance. maybe a reading comprehension course is in your future.:eusa_whistle:

In a very strong letter Jimmy Hoffa expressed his frustration with the ACA because he finally realized that it will cut hours and increase cost for a lot of his dues paying members and we all know that temporary waivers have a way of becoming permanent.

Let's see if I get this right. It seems that less than half of Americans want Obamacare so CNN and something called ORC promoted an "international poll" where they found 16% of the (international?) people polled don't think Obamacare went far enough so they added that figure and came up with a majority. Wow, how creative.

one more thing RDD. buying health insurance should be a personal choice, not a government mandate with financial penalties for non compliance.

one more thing RDD. buying health insurance should be a personal choice, not a government mandate with financial penalties for non compliance.

Here's the problem with that.... And I hate dimocraps more than you can possibly imagine.

When the individual who refused to buy Health Insurance gets sick or injured, what do we do?

Let him/her die?

Not gonna happen. That's not the kind of society we are.

So we're gonna pay to fix/him her up and cost-shift the unpaid balance of Doctor and Hospital Bills onto people who DO buy Health Insurance.

Believe me, I'm telling you the truth.... Otherwise intelligent, hard-working, tax paying, family raising, bill paying people just won't buy Insurance unless they have to (a lot of the time, not always, but way too often)

Insurance is just simply beyond the understanding of the common individual. I'm not talking about trailer-trash Terry and their five half-naked kids running around the park, I'm talking decent people.

They just won't do it.

I spent 25 years trying to understand why people think the way they do on that subject. Still don't know.

Well... Yeah. I do. I just don't want to talk about it. (hint: Use the word 'stupid' a lot and you'll have the answer)

I had a woman come into my Office one time, started bitching about what a ripoff her Cancer Policy was.

I asked her why she felt that way and she said, "I've had this Cancer Policy for twenty years and never got to use it."

I asked her to leave.

People are weird.

We NEED mandatory participation in Health Insurance.

What we DON'T need is socialism. And because Republicans dropped the ball on this year after year, decade after decade......

That's what we're gonna get

I have an aunt and a cousin who both work in canadian health care.
They both say it sucks....

Our healthcare system sucks. If you have lots of money and can pay cash, you get great care. If you have to rely on your health insurance carrier, you will get completely screwed over if you experience an expensive, protracted medical problem.

Bullshit. I had a cancerous tumor removed last year about this time, and a hip replacement about a month ago.
We paid three thousand out of a medical savings account. And thats it.

Insurance people were great through out both surgeries. They paid for 2 months of home rehab for the hip as well.
And this was all done at top notch hospitals with top line surgeons.
ZERO complaints.
