Trump was / is an outsider who stepped in, rallied the American people behind him - even liberals / Democrats, and won the Presidency, pissing off both Washington Establishment and Swamp politicians on both sides.Outsider? Yes. But he ran under an established party. If he tried a true 3rd party run against a Republican candidate we would have had President Hillary.
Trump didn't just pull back the curtain on DC, he burnt the curtain down - He exposed the lying, treasonous, fake-news media for who they are. Even with Trump gone, seeing who they are will not be erased. The damage is done. Trump exposed the lies, corruption, crime, and treason in every agency in DC, from The DNI to the DOJ to the CIA to the FBI... He exposed the corruption, crime, espionage facilitation, illegal collaboration with our enemies, violations of Constitution and laws against Americans, reporters, the media, US Senators, USSC Justices, political opposition, and even a sitting president....
Trump did not BECOME a member of the Republican Party - he forced the GOP to accept him as their Presidential nominee because he had the REAL will and support of the people behind him ... at the right time, against the right candidate.
All well and good, but he still didn't go the third party route. He learned the Perot principle, where even if you get a double digit percentage of the vote, all you can do is play spoiler.
