Careful. I can think of some pretty valuable car companies with high stock values that had to be put on life support in 2008.

And we all know that Tesla was totally dependent on government subsidies to even operate. They have however become quite successful in their segment of the business, but as Chinese EV's will be invading our shores, Tesla will not enjoy the huge slice of the EV market for long. This however, has nothing to do with Musk's politics.
