*some* is not saying they are responsible for all of it. Now all of it is related. Corporations most certainly supported the actions of the FED by continually pumping the markets which is the biggest drivers of the inflation but corporations have also most certainly taken advantage of the situation and raised prices to further drive profits.

Honestly I blame a lot of it on employees with non skilled jobs wanting skilled labor wages.
During the lockdowns people were taking free money to not work and a lot didn't want to go back to work.
So companies had to start offering sign on bonus and raise wages to attract people back. Then all the people who were part of the stupid "great resignation" shit had to be paid more for companies to retain them. Well places like Amazon and Walmart are trend setters, soon as they started paying 15 bucks an hour that's all she wrote, other companies had to follow suit. Who would work a meanial job for 11 dollars when McDonald's is paying 15.
Anyone who knows anything about running a business knows your employees are your biggest cost. So companies had to transfer that cost to the customer by raising prices
We had a weak willed and soft generation entering the work force who expected to make living wages pouring coffee at Starbucks because they grew up being catered to and told how awesome and special they are for every little thing.
So while my examples arent the sole reason, but I'd say they are a major contributing factor to it. Other things like shortages also come into play and opportunistic colorations taking advantage and so on.

Controlling prices is the very definition of Socialism. The Republican party is very opposed to Socialism except when it comes to gas and food prices. They’re ready to jettison capitalism in a heartbeat to get those gas prices down.
