Black Americans are given assistance because black people have been historically discriminated against and marginalized not because we're inferior. What is? Black employment in the public sector? Yes it is due to racism. White racism. The public sector was one of the few places, in heavily black and minority districts, where blacks could actually get jobs. It's very hard to prove racism and discrimination in the private sector and there we see black professionals extremely under represented, but in districts controlled by democrats and minorites, the public sector can be a haven for minorities looking for gainful employment.

When assistantships were given out, by Affirmative Action, in the graduate school I attended, all of them went to the only 8 blacks who applied (certainly not the best academically). All others were denied. That included whites, Asians, Hispanics, and women. THOSE were the "victims"
