A Dock Worker Strike Could Cost Kamala The White House. Why Won’t Biden Stop It?

The fuckup is wrong as usual.

From the NYT.

A key sticking point is wages. East and Gulf Coast longshoremen with six or more years’ experience currently earn $39 an hour, up 11 percent from the start of their previous six-year contract. But over that the same period, inflation has risen 24 percent. A person familiar with the negotiations said the union was asking for a $5-an-hour raise in each year of the new six-year contract, while employers were offering annual raises of $2.50 an hour.
$39.00 dollars an hour eh ? Then Bidens inflation starts chopping away at that dollar amount, where as the dock workers start losing big time in a Democrat run government, so next they strike.

Meanwhile the rest of the nation has to struggle as they lose in the Biden economy with high inflation driving their dollar values into the tank, but no one comes to their rescue except when the Fed's start stealing taxpayer money from the treasury in order the distribute it to the poor in hopes to be their heroes for their vote.

Meanwhile the lower middle class working families who make up the bulk of the work forces across it are getting hit from both sides while NO ONE comes to their rescue.

Make it make sense.

No other choice than to vote Trump, and go in a different direction.

Apparently, Ole’ Stumblebum won’t stop the Longshoreman’s strike.

This might be his payback for being stabbed in the back by the democrat / Leninist party.

On Tuesday, about 45,000 dock workers will walk off the job in a massive strike that will shutter dozens of ports along the East and Gulf Coasts, upending the economy just weeks before a tight presidential election.

President Joe Biden could stop the strike, but he says he won’t.

It will take a month at least for the strike to have any effect on the economy. Too late for that.

And if you think all of the shippers, and suppliers will allow the strike to last that long, you don’t know the situation.

Trump is the one that has the most to lose, because if he takes the side of the shippers over the union workers, that’s the end of his union support.

I fully expect Biden-Harris to abdicate any responsibility and side with the union. Actually, they have the most to lose if they're viewed as caving to management.

All of it needs to be investigated for the reasoning behind it, and assessed for the impacted affects that it causes this country if it was used in a way to exact pain if the outcomes weren't achieved.

I do believe that the Democrat's would be way more the abusers than the Republicans are when it comes to this sort of thing.
Bullshit

Ever since the fuckup gingrinch rise to power government shutdowns have been a tool for them.

Look at Fat Elvis’ dealings with disasters during his term. Take the forests? Throw paper towels and withhold funds allocated by Congress for three years?

What the fuckup.

Do they realize that that would mean they would have to manually unload everything if they ban ALL automation? Talk about delays in the supply line....
Do ya think dock workers are going to haul 1,000 lb crates & pickups on their back if there's less automation, Beavis? DUH! :itsok:

You post as you want to deny longshore workers a rise.

Lies. Joe Biden openly stabbed the railroad unions in the back.
That was one incident. And that isn't over. And that was a bipartisan bill passed by congress, and for good reason.

As it turns out, more than one thing happened while he was president.

Most pro union administration in decades.

If you think they still weren't great, that's not a comment on Biden. That's a comment on the other administrations.

And now the excuses.
