Alaskans Standing Together is one of several conservative-leaning groups spending heavily in this election cycle after a recent Supreme Court decision opened the door to unlimited contributions from any type of donor. The Super PAC’s spending is also more evidence that the three-way Senate contest has a ballooning price tag. Not only do polls show the race as highly competitive, but money for the candidates appears to free-flow in and out of the state on an almost-daily basis.

Personally? I hope Murkowski ends up taking away votes from the GOP candidate, setting up the Dem for a win.
