Of COURSE we need Trump back in the WH! Besides the two most obvious reasons - the border invasion and continuing inflation - he had gone far toward Middle East peace and kept Iran bankrupt and unable to fund terrorist proxy massacres against Jews.

Brave Gazan Imam Kidnapped for Defying Hamas

First reported in The Free Press, the gripping and distressing narrative of Imam Mohammed Mushtaha's abduction, his son, Ala Mohammed Mushtaha, recounts the stark reality of defying Hamas in Gaza. The imam, a respected figure with a doctorate in sharia from Al-Azhar University, was known for his unwavering principles and deep faith.

On December 30th, 2023, his home was violently invaded by twenty masked men. This abduction was a direct result of Imam Mushtaha's refusal to comply with Hamas's stringent directives, including the exploitation of his mosque as a hidden weapons arsenal and the propagation of sermons dictated by the group.

His family, deeply rooted in Gaza for generations, had endured persecution from Hamas long before October 7th, marked by arrests, beatings, and intimidation for refusing to toe their line. In a poignant and defiant statement, Ala Mohammed Mushtaha shared his father's last words, a testament to his courage and integrity: "It was his last request to us, literally as he was being carried out of the door, that should he die, we should publicize the real reason for his death, and it is this: He wouldn’t preach what Hamas told him to. He refused to tell Gazans that violent resistance, and obedience to Hamas, is the best way out of our current hell."

SUBTOPIC: (2012). Misinformation. The UN said no such thing.
※→ P F Tinmore, et al,

You need to look at this claim more closely. As I have often offered, this legal position to which the UN (and only as far as the status within the UN is concerned) has officially established.

All that fluff changed when Palestine became a state in 1924 and the Palestinians became the sovereigns in their defined territory as the UN has stated numerous times.
(COMMENT)

I do not find any documentation that defines an Arab Palestinian State anywhere in that timeframe or on the timeline leading to 2012.

If it were true, [sovereigns in their defined territory as the UN has stated numerous times], the Question of Palestine and the binding and enforceable documentation would have long been plastered all over the internet. That has not happened. There is no UN documentation stating such.

The Israelis completed a unilateral withdrawal from the Gaza Strip in 2005. The Oslo Accords established the Areas "A" • "B" • "C" in which only Area "A" has some (maybe not all) characteristics of Arab Palestinian sovereignty.

The UN has never said that any territory is under Arab Palestinian sovereignty; in any such named territory.

Most protesters (pro-Palestinian and anti-Israeli) have no real clear understanding of these fine points. You never hear this mentioned and discussed in any of the Arab Palestinians. Nor do you ever hear the tenants A/RES/25/2625 • Declaration on Principles of International Law concerning Friendly Relations and Co-operation among States.

I'm not sure that I saw anything in this video that was a "war crime."

Resistance captures drone footage of Israeli war crimes, with Jon Elmer

Where were the war crimes?
(COMMENT)

When were the videos taken?
Were these schools with children in them? Or, were these buildings abandoned? The use of an abandoned school is NOT a violation. The use of these empty buildings in a defilade manner is a completely legitimate military option.

As far as the snippet on the matter of the al Jazeera offices, equipment, and other materials being confiscated is concerned. Once an outlet has demonstrated to be a security risk ("indicators of friendly force actions attendant to military operations") THEN it is entirely proper for Operational Security measures to be implemented to reduce the risk to the IDF and prevent Islamic Resistance (HAMAS) Forces from exploiting the vulnerabilities.

I have to raise an eyebrow at the whole scenario that it is captured Israeli Footage. It would be a bit absurd for the Islamic Resistance to release Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) if it were of any value. Such a release would disclose the "Sources and Methods" of Islamic resistance capabilities. It would result in a backlash on the outlet (al Jazeera).

There is something not being disclosed here.

Nice obfuscation. I have posted many times, by many sources, that Palestine became a state in 1924. The UN Charter, and the Montevideo Convention, state that states are inviolable.
Recognizing
that the Palestinian people is entitled to self-determination in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations,

Expressing its grave concern that the Palestinian people has been prevented from enjoying its inalienable rights, in particular its right to self-determination,

Guided by the purposes and principles of the Charter,

Recalling its relevant resolutions which affirm the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination,

  1. Reaffirmsthe inalienable rights of the Palestinian people in Palestine, including:
    1. (a) The right to self-determination without external interference;
    2. (b) The right to national independence and sovereignty;
  2. Reaffirms also the inalienable right of the Palestinians to return to their homes and property from which they have been displaced and uprooted, and calls for their return;

Nothing in 1924 created the State of Palestine. It is an erroneous perception of reality by late 20th-century terrorists to grab for something that does not exist.

None of the resolutions you offer are binding. Besides, laws of any sort cannot be retroactive. You cannot rewind history and call for an instant replay. (
It simply is what it is.)

Article 24. GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF CRIMINAL LAWRome Statute of the International Criminal Court
Done at Rome on 17 July 1998, in force on 1 July 2002, United Nations, Treaty
Series, vol. 2187, No. 38544,

Non-retroactivity ratione personae

1. No person shall be criminally responsible under this Statute for conduct prior to the entry into force of the Statute.
2. In the event of a change in the law applicable to a given case prior to a final judgement, the law more favourable to the person being investigated, prosecuted or convicted shall apply.

In addition to the fallacy of attempting to apply A/RES/3236 (XXIX) (Adopted 22NOV74) affirm the rights and reaffirming previous non-binding resolutions means nothing except for being the position of the UN Membership. In any event, Israel has not injured or denied the Right of Self-Determination,

The Right of Return is an illusion.

Where was the government of Palestine from 1924-1948? Who were their officials?
What was their currency? What was the exchange rate with the US dollar?
Did they sign any agreements with their neighbors?
How were they funded? What was their tax rate? Did they impose tariffs?
How large were their armed forces? Who served? Post some evidence.

Thank you, Mr. Israeli talking points. Allow me to confuse you with another never answered question.

The Mandate stipulated that the Jews, and all of the other Palestinians, would obtain Palestinian citizenship. They would have Palestinian citizenship, Palestinian nationality, Palestinian birth certificates, Palestinian passports, and pay Palestinian taxes. In the 1949 UN Armistice Agreements Palestine and its international borders were still there.

Yet you claim that there was not a Palestine.

I am sure that your response will be entertaining.

(COMMENT)

Well! This is only partially correct. Much of the documentation on the Post Conflict Great War, are related and should not be considered in isolation of many other documents. In this case (on topic), the
High Contracting Parties (the Original Members of the League of Nations) created the Covenant (FEB 1920). Nowhere in the Covenant is "Palestine" (in any form) mentioned. Of significance to the question at hand is found in paragraph 4, Article 22, Part I. In part, the Article 22 stipulates that "Certain communities formerly belonging to the Turkish Empire have reached a stage of development where their existence as independent nations can be provisionally recognised subject to the rendering of administrative advice and assistance by a Mandatory until such time as they are able to stand alone." Without the word by the Mandattoy and the ability to "stand alone" the State of Palestine could not be achieved (and it was not in any fashion.

Immediately following the Covenant the San Remo Conference was convened (exclusively by 4 of the Principle Allied Powers: UK, France, Italy, Japan). At the Conference, the Principle Allied Powers agreed on the disposition of "Syria and Mesopotamia in accordance with Article 22, Part I of the Covenant. Included in the Conference was the agreement that the the administration of Palestine, within such boundaries as may be determined by the Principal Allied Powers, to a Mandatory, to be selected by the said Powers. Two years later, the Principle Allied Powers agreed that the Mandatory should be responsible for putting into effect the Balfour Declaration made by the British Government on 2 November 1917. Following the San Remo Conference, the League of Nations issued the Palestine Order in Council and documented the selection of the British Government as the Mandatory and the intention to establish in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people.¨

The Palestine Order in Council opens with the understanding that:

"The limits of this Order are the territories to which the Mandate for Palestine applies, hereinafter described as Palestine."
The Order pertaining to and setting the footprint and framework for citizenship in the Mandated Territory is found in the this Order in Council.

"For the purposes of this Order and pending the introduction of an Order in Council regulating Palestinian citizenship, the following persons shall be deemed to be Palestinian citizens:--
(a) Turkish subjects habitually resident in the territory of Palestine at the date of commencement of this Order.
(b) All persons of other than Turkish nationality habitually resident in the territory of Palestine at the said date, who shall within two calendar months of the said date make application for Palestinian citizenship in such form and before such officer as may be prescribed by the High Commissioner.

Palestinian nationality, Palestinian birth certificates, Palestinian passports, and pay Palestinian taxes. In the 1949 UN Armistice Agreements Palestine and its international borders were still there.
(COMMENT)

I did not say that. I said that there was no "State of Palestine" as an independent nation. However, the Administration having governance over the territory under the Mandate of Palestine did setup a government as a necessary framework, as you say - for: "birth certificates, Palestinian passports, and pay Palestinian taxes."

In 1950, the Hashemite Kingdom Annexed its holdings which they occupied west of the Jordan River.

Don't confuse Armistice Lines as some sort of a permanent political arrangement. Armistice Lines can be renamed, discarded, or re-designated at any time.

I and at a loss to identify any arrangement the Arab Palestinians have pertaining to an International Border. Whereas, the Israelis have a couple.
