In truth, most of us have agreed to accord Obama a much higher degree of respect and courtesy than they showed to Bush. Unfortunately, they set the bar so incredibly low in that regard that we could probably urinate on his shoes and still achieve that goal.

Their REAL problem is that they know they have no legitimate right to ask for ANY respect, and getting what you actually deserve in life can be a bitch.
