Today I found out who equity investors are and I just wonder: will $200k be enough to create an effective and low-risk asset portfolio of such investments? Any of you ever invested on a non-public market?

Most anything is risky with the exception of owning farmland free and clear.
Well, there podner if you have title free and clear to the land, you can always live off of the land (dairy cows, pigs, chickens and even a turkey or two will do fine along with some farming for crops ) Now, of course, with Obama and his morally corrupt minions they might try to tax that portion of the produce and animals that you raise for personal consumption. In that case, shoot the damned revenuers when they show up and throw them deep into the manure pile where their bodies might have some productive use for the worms that are actively creating castings for the enrichment of your soil. Most anything is risky with the exception of owning farmland free and clear.
I guess you never suffered from falling/rising crop prices?![]()
