Those of us who were delighted to hear Donald Trump saying in the strongest terms possible that he was going to put a stop to the Mexican Invasion of this Country...we always understood that Mexico was never ever going to write a check to pay for a wall. Only Morons thought that.

But, Mexicans have already started to pay for the wall, and they are having a Hissy Fit down there right now, as they began to realize it.

Ford cancelled its 1.6 billion dollar plant in Mexico and instead will invest most of the money in the USA which will create jobs for people in the USA, instead of Mexico...and those Americans with those jobs will spend money in America and pay taxes to America and that is money that will go to build the wall, instead of going to help the Mexican economy.

And they are freaking out. The Peso dropped against the Dollar.

Mexico is starting to pay for the wall; and Trump is not even in authority for 15 more days.

Only Morons can't see whats going on.

So you are now saying that when Trump claimed that Mexico will pay for his wall all along the southern border and that "Mexico" would pay for it, what Donald Trump meant was that American citizens will pay for the wall through a Congressional Bill and that "Mexico" is paying for it from losing investment by American businesses. I doubt very much this is what all those cheering fans at Donald Trump rallies understood by "Mexico" paying for it, should be taken as a metaphor meaning Americans will be paying for it from tax revenue of American workers employed by businesses that were destined to go south of the border. The fact is Mexico was never going to pay for the wall in the traditional sense, "heres $10B, build the wall please". Mexico still pays for the wall though, this is done through lost jobs (and decreased Mexican tax revenue) when Trump influences American businesses to stay in America rather then head to Mexico. Or, via tariffs and taxes, which can come in many forms. Therefore, over the period of a decade or so, certainly Mexico pays for the wall, this much is certain if he continues as he has promised.

Consider the costs Mexico has already paid with Carrier and Ford both staying in the U.S rather than expanding full throttle in Mexico, and it doesn't need to be reiterated, he isn't president yet. The Mexican government knows that they are paying for the wall, they don't even need to state this. In fact, they probably don't want to mention this at all.

Furthermore, let's say Trump saves 10,000 jobs, which is very conservative based on what he has already done, I would guess we are looking at hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of jobs. This is 10,000 jobs (or millions) that pays taxes year after year. That's a large chunk of cheese that would have been Mexicos money, but it is now in Americas ledger.
