Amy Cooper Faces Charges After Calling Police on Black Bird Watcher

Got it. Reality did not match your expectations, so it must be a fluke. NOthing to learn here.

That is about what I expected from you.
Like I said, the lesson here is that this type of thing is no longer accepted and one is likely to not only be charged, but arrested, prosecuted and jailed for trying to weaponize (sp) law enforcement like that.

What do you think the lesson is?

That incomplete videos showing a confrontation already well underway, give no information as to who the bad guy actually is, but that does not stop some people from being able to choose sides, despite a lack of information.

Fascism at work, charging someone with something that is never enforced.

The black man was harassing her, it’s on the video. White women have a reason to be afraid of black men, they are the most violent group in the country, and often assault and rape white women.

Him asking her to put her dog on a leash was horrably threatening, wasnt it? Back when America was great, a black man would have been lynched for talking to a white woman. Trump is trying hard to remake America just like it was back then. MAGA!!
It's not a normal human behavior to blame everything, like a woman's behavior on Trump.
You take it beyond to far and your response here is a perfect example.
Instead of truly finding out why this lady feels entitled to do what she did (I'm guessing hurt ego and something disturbing about her or her life), but her behavior is the same mirror reflection crying wolf that you yourself have been doing, but replace race with politics.

I see you chose to use the "i'm rubber -- you're glue" response. Interesting.

The FULL video seems to have conveniently been removed from youtube. Is anyone surprised?

Amy Cooper, as soon as you are politely put in check to be responsible, you deflect then plot revenge, whether against the President or the responsible citizens.

No, I did not prove your point. Your point is ridiculous, and nothing can prove it to be otherwise.

My point was that the woman was wrong in what she did, but it wasn't till I pointed out the resemblances to Majority Congress false charges on the President and anyone helping him, that you decided maybe what she did was acceptable behavior. IT WASN'T TILL YOU FOUND OUT YOU DESPISE [that which is] YOURSELF, & as usually would happen, you blame the messenger for the message.

No dumb ass. You claimed the fact that Planned Parenthood was started by a racist person, is grounds for not supporting the Democratic party. You're an idiot, and trying to weasel out of what you said is just dumb.

You are confusing me with another poster, I never discussed planed parenthood or the subject you discussed in your reply.
I'll forgive you, because it's hard to keep the many conversations straight, but just note it's wrong to slew ad hominems and cussing, it serves no purpose and only deminishes your points.
*note you made false charges against me, I rest my case and note previous duscussions about not admitting to anything, has also been validated.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake. I have never been afraid to admit I'm wrong when shown, even though I would prefer not to. There is no reason or advantage to arguing for anything that I know to be wrong.

I have woman like this call the cops on me all the time.. if I laugh at a lesbian couple they call the cops, if I say GO TRUMP! In front of them they call the cops on me.. lol they crazy

This isn't even a slap on the wrist but it's a start since it's alleged that she is the first white person to be charged with maliciously making a false report on a black person, after all these centuries of malice.
"Ms. Cooper was captured on video calling the police after Christian Cooper asked her to keep her dog on a leash in Central Park.

When Amy Cooper, a white woman, called 911 from an isolated patch in Central Park where she was standing with her unleashed dog on Memorial Day, she said an “African-American man” was threatening her life, emphasizing his race to the operator.
Moments before Ms. Cooper made the call, the man, Christian Cooper, an avid bird-watcher, had asked her to leash her dog, and she had refused.
On Monday, Ms. Cooper was charged with filing a false report, a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail, the latest fallout from an encounter that resonated across the country and provoked intense discussions about how Black people are harmed when sham reports to the police are made about them by white people.
Video of the encounter that Mr. Cooper shot on his phone has been viewed more than 40 million times. It was widely perceived as a startling and sobering example of racial attitudes in New York City, which prides itself on its supposedly progressive ideals.
The video was posted to Twitter by Mr. Cooper’s sister.

The pending criminal charge against Ms. Cooper appears to be among the first that a white person in the United States has faced for wrongfully calling the police to make a complaint about a Black person.
“We are strongly committed to holding perpetrators of this conduct accountable,” said Cyrus R. Vance Jr., the Manhattan district attorney.
Ms. Cooper, who was issued a desk appearance ticket on Monday, is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 14. If convicted, she could receive a conditional discharge or be sentenced to community service or counseling rather than jail time.
Ms. Cooper could not be reached for comment on Monday, but her lawyer, Robert Barnes, said in a statement that she would be found not guilty and he criticized what he called a “cancel culture epidemic” for a rush to judgment.
“She lost her job, her home, and her public life,” Mr. Barnes said. “Now some demand her freedom? How many lives are we going to destroy over misunderstood 60-second videos on social media?”
Mr. Cooper, who has expressed deep ambivalence about the severity of the public response to Ms. Cooper’s actions, said on Monday that he “had zero involvement” in the district attorney’s case against her.a
Asked to comment on the pending charge, he said, “I have no reaction.”
People are rarely charged with filing a false police report, legal experts said, because the authorities do not want to discourage the reporting of crimes and because it can be difficult to prove that a person made a false report knowingly.
But experts said that the evidence in the case against Ms. Cooper was strong and that it could have broader implications in other instances of white people making false police reports against Black people.
“To the extent that this woman was arguably deploying racial stereotypes and weaponizing them, it will make people think twice,” said Nancy Gertner, a Harvard Law School professor and a retired federal judge. “It is a big deal.”"

Fake news.
In your world of "alternative" facts I suppose you would see it that way.

Typically NewsVine starts a topic promoting her kinky politics and then disappears

thats a form of trolling

So I dont expect a reply from her to the following comment

the white woman should get no more and no less than the black guy in chicago got for his racially charged false police report

jussie smollet did not lose his job or go to jail and neither should she
Ah, don't be jealous <smirk>

Isnt this the "bird watcher" that tried to lure the dog with "treats" (poison?), And threaten to harm her dog?

Isnt this the thread where the OP video was found ONCE AGAIN to be dishonestly INCOMPLETE and not showing what the black man did to instigate the 911 call?

NewsVine_Mariyam has no credibility with her racist "news stories"
Why you trying to start a fight?

There are tons of Negro bird watchers. They are very sensitive to wildlife and stuff. Don't ask don't tell. :auiqs.jpg:

Toy mean with FACTS you always conviently leave out in your COPY/PASTE posts?

Here is Cooper's account

Christian Cooper — a Harvard University grad, former Marvel Comics editor and a current member of the board of directors for the New York City chapter of the Audubon Society, according to reports and the nature organization — wrote on Facebook on Monday:

“Central Park this morning: This woman’s dog is tearing through the plantings in the Ramble.

“ME: Ma’am, dogs in the Ramble have to be on the leash at all times. The sign is right there.

“HER: The dog runs are closed. He needs his exercise.

“ME: All you have to do is take him to the other side of the drive, outside the Ramble, and you can let him run off leash all you want.

“HER: It’s too dangerous.

“ME: Look, if you’re going to do what you want, I’m going to do what I want, but you’re not going to like it.

“HER: What’s that?

“ME (to the dog): Come here, puppy!

“HER: He won’t come to you.

“ME: We’ll see about that…” before adding, “I pull out the dog treats I carry for just for such intransigence. I didn’t even get a chance to toss any treats to the pooch before Karen scrambled to grab the dog.

“HER: DON’T YOU TOUCH MY DOG!!!!!

So he told her he was going to do whatever he wanted and that she wouldn't like it then he tried to take her dog from her

Seems he's not the milk toast mild mannered bird watcher you all think he is
