"An overnight analysis of thousands of foreign language documents indicate the most likely developments in the Iranian crisis.

Iranian controlled groups in Yemen, Iraq and in Syria will launch additional missiles against Israel and Saudi Arabia.

The U.S. will respond with a massive (>100) Tomahawk cruise missile stand-off attack from naval ships and submarines in the Mediterranean.

The Iranians will attempt to jam the GPS guidance in the cruise missiles and in the aircrafts, using Russian supplied jammers.

Iran will launch a large number of missiles against U.S. bases and ships in the Middle East, as well as against targets in Saudi Arabia, Israel and other Gulf states. They will temporarily cause a halt in Saudi oil production, leading to petroleum shortages and rapidly rising prices and stunting the global economy. All shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz will stop.

Israel will respond with low flying aircraft attacks against Iranian nuclear sites and military bases.

The U.S. will respond with massive ordnance air blast bombs (MOABs) against Iranian underground mountain nuclear labs and missile storage facilities. The U.S. and Israel will lose a number of aircraft to Russian designed AAA batteries / missiles.

This all depends upon the leadership in Tehran. The old religious leadership will not hesitate to use nuclear warheads against Israel and Saudi Arabia, but younger leaders are less anxious to escalate. Should Iran decide to use ICBMs with nuclear warheads (developed in cooperation with North Korea), regional casualties on the order of 10-20 million people and significant global consequences can be expected."

Iran would have little problem with that, since many of them would expect that the 12th Imam would appear to save them.

In any event, should they go nuke they will be completely destroyed.

News tip for the less informed cruise missles have alternate means of navigation beyond GPS, inertial for one and terrain following for another.
Only a complete idiot would develop a long range weapons system and have it rely on only one form of guidance must less one that relys soley on external references such as GPS. It's also important to note that GPS is much more robust in terms electronic counter measures than many may suspect.

True. I would do all 3 or at least Saudi Arabia and Israel at the same time.

Thanks Obama.
But just like the warhawks during the Cuban Missile Crisis, no one will be left alive to tell Obama he was wrong.

Iran would have little problem with that, since many of them would expect that the 12th Imam would appear to save them.

In any event, should they go nuke they will be completely destroyed.
Along with everyone else.
The only solution is preventing Iran from getting nukes.

Agree with the second, but what major nuclear power would sacrifice itself for Iran?

I just want to see a population of people obliterated by a nuclear bomb...especially if that population are muslims....Why should the WW2 generation be the only ones who get to see a nuke dropped on people?? Its really unfair...

Besides, if anything bad comes from us nuking Iran -- we can blame it on Obama anyway -- that is one of the few good things blacks come in handy for....

Why would you think Iran would sacrifice itself??

Folks have been fantasizing for decades about this and get disappointed every time...

Funny how the only country in the history of the world to have ever dropped nukes on people is the US -- yet we are nervous about everyone else doing it -- but act surprised when these countries want nukes too....maybe they have reason to be nervous about us

They do. They'd best behave.

There’d be no choice. It would all snowball into a global nuke fest. Then you’d have real AGW.

Iran is an irrational suicide Muslim terrorist regime.

All of the problems in Iran are shitstain obama's fault. He did it. Deliberately.

Actually, it all began under Carter. Obama came along and gave it a big push.

Hardly interesting. Iran has no nuclear weapons at this time. If Israel is attacked, it will not respond proportionately. Israel will take out Iran's air defenses and then blow up its ports and oil refineries, bringing the Iranian economy to a virtual halt. Iran will be able to fire off some of its existing missiles at distant targets, but it will have no ability to confront its enemies directly. It will have no fuel for its cars, no heat or electricity for its homes or offices and it will soon not have enough food to feed the people. The ayatollahs will remember what happened to the Shah and either flee the country or seek to surrender.
