And obama spoke…..and the gates of Hell opened….obama to release 6,000 felons today...

They're coming out a lot worse than when they went in. All it's gonna take is 1 of them murdering someone and everyone who had anything to do with this is gonna be crucified.
The right doesn't seem to care how many people die in an extra-Constitutional and non-specifically enumerated, War on Drugs. just claim you want "equality" from the left.

Not enough. We need to release all non-violent drug offenders from our prisons. They don't belong in cages with brutal murderers and rapists. It's time for our justice system to evolve.
So would building separate prisons for different offenders be the answer your looking for? Or do you want to repeal the laws that have been implemented by the justice system, the courts and trial juries?
The answer he's looking for is nobody goes to jail for anything. He's promoting a false narrative..that our prisons are full of harmless pot smoker. It's a lie. Our prisons are full of mentally ill and criminal violent offenders, who don't get enough time, and just do the revolving thing over and over and over, affecting others with their criminal and violent behavior, creating more crime and violence as they go.
Are you mind-blowingly stupid or just dishonest?

It's the old 'OMG! YOU WANT ANARCHY!!' argument. Heard it many times before. The Authority-Worshippers are all-in on locking as many Citizens away in cages as possible. And they're getting their wish. America is now #1 in the world in locking its Citizens up.

It's all in their conditioning. Americans are trained to live in fear and worship authority. The answer to them is to just lock em up and throw away the key. It is sad, but it is what it is.

I think a good solution to decrease incarceration rates is to encourage citizens to kill would be prisoners. How about rewarding citizens who kill an aggressor in a lawful way such as self defense. Killing rapist, murders, and other such villainy would save the tax payers a lot of money because it just seems like a waste of time to reform them. It is more efficient to kill them.

1) Those in prison for drug use need not be locked up. The drug war is long lost. Get over it. Waste of time and money. Those who use will use, those that know better wont.

2) WIth the difficulty in finding and keeping prison guards, plus the burnout rate of those people, plus the taxpayers whining and crying that the prison guards make too much money(another lie they cannot prove), is this not a way to save money? Less prison guards = less taxes (for those that whine and cry about paying taxes).

Hey America, we're #1!!...

In locking its Citizens away in cages. WOO HOO!! YEAH BOOOYY!! FREEDOM AT LAST!!

We need to drastically improve our mental care and drug treatment in this country. We're an embarrassment to the world in that regard. Locking them all away in cages isn't the answer. In fact, that's barbaric. Our Justice System has to evolve.

Many prison guards are criminals themselves. But that's another discussion. Someone who does drugs or someone with mental illness, doesn't need to be thrown in a cage with brutal murderers and rapists.

If they're non-violent, there are other options. Someone gets caught with drugs on em, give em a fine or something. Don't throw em in a cage. We have to evolve as a society.

With 2.5 million Americans incarcerated, it is time to start releasing alot more than that

We had 500 million in prison 30 years ago, we now have five times that number

.

True. The Police State has rapidly expanded. We now lock up more of our Citizens than any other nation on earth. 6,000 is a drop in a bucket. It's time to release all non-violent drug offenders. That'll go a long way in reducing prison over-crowding. And save a lot of Taxpayer Dollars.

Fine, can they stay at your place? :)

I'm already paying to keep 2.5 million people in prison while we can't find money for healthcare or education

Yeah....and like Richard Pryor said after he got out of prison....."Thank God we have prisons....."

And when you come home to find your house ransacked and all your valuables stolen, then you might feel different about drug addicts. Your taxes will pay the cops to catch the crooks.

We apparently have more criminals, we aren't just locking up people who are walking down the street.

i feel different about sloth in public office.

Yes….in order to push more gun control you have to have an increase in the violent crime rate…currently our violent crime rate is going down, not up….mainly due to locking up criminals for a long time, and also because good people can now carry guns…..

That is going to change….obama and congress have decided that they need to increase the crime rate just before the election and to help push gun control…so today is the day they are releasing 6,000 felons back into our cities…..

Thanks obama…..

FAIL POST.

You might want to sit back and watch how this works.

Yeah....letting out convicted criminals...many of them for drug crimes that hide a history of violence...I don't need to by a fortune teller to know how this is going to work out....

Yet other nations without our draconian drug laws have no such problem.
