They just want to jigger the system so that conservatives can win more elections without actually winning the vote.
Most of the states they dominate have like 10 people living in them. And they have a disproportionate amount of power. That needs to be changed.

Why is the direct vote of the People of a state not an accurate reflection of a state's positions?

Because it's the luck of the draw on a given day.

If the people vote in a certain state legislature, that legislature should choose the state representatives in Washington.
