If you don't like how much the CEO is getting paid, sell your stock. Otherwise, it is the business of the stockholders who are the owners of the corporation.

Get out your bag of dope, foot out a couple of hundred dollars, and make some crummy rock star rich. He deserves it. Afterall, he has a guitar, knows how to dance, and can yell like crazy.

You must worship your rich masters regardless of how much they fuck up. They should never pay taxes. Taxes are for little people. The rich CEO needs a raise. Screw the workers & share holders.

Congratulations! You won "The Golden Sheep of the Day" trophy!

The employment contract is between the board of directors and the CEO.
Jealousy and envy run really deep around here.
And self-pity.

When I was flat fucking broke, I didn't give a shit about someone else's wealth or how they earned (or didn't) earn it. Why should I have?

Oh the inequities and injustices of the world!

Woe is us!

Funny how those share holder proxy vote ballots never asked how much to pay the CEO or executives. At least not until the new “say on pay” rules enacted 2 years ago as part of the Dodd-Frank Act to try to make executive compensation more accountable and transparent to investors.

Just love the Corporate Oligarchy wiping out the middle class, hey? Sorry, the "Golden Sheep" trophy was handed out earlier, but try again tomorrow. Thanks for playing!

I used to not give shit about someone else's wealth also. Until I learned how they use their power to steal your savings, manipulate markets, commodities, land & houses. The more money they acquire the more they can distort markets, buy influence & take wealth from workers.

The only entity I worship is God, but I fully believe in live and let live. That applies to all who are peaceful, lawabiding, and honest.

The amount a CEO makes is strictly the business of the people who hire him and pay him. That also applies to the janitors, the sales clerks, and the floor walkers.

You would serve yourself better by tending to your own business, and leaving others to tend to their business as they see fit. It might surprise you, but most of those janitors, sales clerks, and floor warkers are as smart as you are, and some a hell of a lot smarter. They are fully capable of tending to their own affairs. They don't need you or your flawed sense of fairness.

I think you've confused CEOs with the Federal Reserve...

Smarter... and happier. We've confused wealth with riches. I learned the true meaning of wealth at a very young age. And got a refresher course a few more times during my life.

Citizes in the US have less economic mobility than their peers in Canada and much of Western Europe.

1 in 6 went hungry in America in 2008 under Bush's Free Market
The report, issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, found that 17 million people in the U.S. went hungry or did not eat regularly for a few days of each month over seven or eight months last year. That's a 45% increase from 12 million people in 2007. In 2008, 16.7 million children did not eat regularly at some point, up from 12.4 million in 2007.

You didn't learn anything, you were indoctrinated into the upside down world of the liberal socialists. No one can take anything from you except in one of two ways. They take it by force, as in government and armed robbers, or you give it to them through ignorance or greed.

Your concept that rich people distort markets is nonsense. There are a lot of rich people in the markets, and they are not all in some conspiracy. Money counters money at every level of a free market, and that keeps it fairly honest for the average joe. Today, most markets are international, and that means there are thousands of rich people, all wanting to make money on some perceived market distortion.

Workers know how much they will be paid, and the vast majority can calculate how much they are due at the end of the pay period. No one is stealing from them. Except, the local, state, and/or federal governments with their taxing schemes.

It's very easy to have economy mobility when the bar is set so low. Middle class in most parts of Europe wouldn't even qualify for poverty stricken in America. Sure, there are tons of places in Europe with more Economic mobility, but I guarantee not a single person in this forum would ever want to live in any of those places.

You mean the first few months of the Financial Crisis? Lots of people losing their jobs. Can't imagine why there would this would happen. It's not like there was a recession or anything.

I wonder what happened in 2008 to cause an increase in poverty? Couldn't have possibly been a recession with millions of people losing their jobs, could it? Naw, it must have been something that Bush did. You loons never miss a beat with your BS.

And, you actually believe that was the purpose? Couldn't have been to highlight executive pay to give you loons something to bellyache about, could it?

The Dodd-Frank Act has done more to protect big banks than any other act in history. But, if you happen to be a small bank, look out, big brother is going to be looking to steal your bank and turn it over to the big guys.
