Zone1 Any billionaires who are devoutly religious?

Nonsense. There are many wealthy people who have done nothing evil to become wealthy however many evil ones there may be. But I'm sure you would like to relieve all those unfortunate souls who have been vested into your cult of all of their hard earned money.

So they all can get into Hebbin, after they die of course. What a guy! Did you sell off everything that you owned and give all the money that you made to the poor? Ahem....No?

As far as Jesus telling the rich, he clearly said to "use your worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, (like Jesus who held the keys to heaven and hell), so that when money is a thing of the past (when you die) you will be received into an eternal abode, (receive an eternal body).

You have been a very very naughty boy, perjuring yourself in the name of Jesus daily. :eusa_liar:

If you want to be forgiven for your sins and enter Gods kingdom, just send me all of your cash.

Is that really your sales pitch? :auiqs.jpg:
They watch their brothers live in the streets. They watch many go without. Back in the 70,s 0ver 21 million children a year died from starvation, while the rich have enough for 1000,s of lifetimes.
They are rich from a love of $$$-the root of all evil.

You don't think its bigoted in the least to be jealous of someones wealth and declare they are going to hell because they are more successful than you? :huh1: Question.........how do you know what rests in the heart of every rich person? You cannot.......judge not least you judge righteously (John 7:24)
God's kingdom...aka......the Kingdom of Heaven.......aka......the church given to Jesus by the Father presents instruction and methods for ALL NATIONS to enter His Kingdom.....the church that Christ is now in reign over in heaven (as Lord and Christ -- Acts 2:36) at the right hand of the Father. (Matthew 16, 28:18-20, ). God has spoken to us in these last days through the knowledge presented to Jesus Christ, who communicates from heaven through the Holy Spirit of Truth which ends with the relevations found in the Holy Scriptures. He no longer uses prophets and scribes as in the Law and the prophets. (Hebrews 1:1-4) The wall created by the physical law has been removed via the cross of the Christ (Eph. 2:14-17) You want to talk to the Lord..........open your Bible.

For instance....the Holy Scriptures tell us that God is no respecter of person, God shows no partiality regardless of social status, wealth, lack of wealth. I can present over a dozen passages of scripture declaring the same thing (Romans 2:11, Acts 10:34, .........there is no respect or favorites in the Kingdom of God......all are equal once transmitted into the kingdom through Jesus (Gal. 3:28-29).....no Jew, no Greek/gentile.....no male, no female, no bond....no free.....all are equal as brothers in Christ

According to your logic.........Jesus Christ should have denied using the Grave chamber of the Rich Man (Joseph -- Matt.27:57) because he was rich....strange is it not when the scriptures declare, "..........who also himself was a disciple of Jesus)....but I thought the rich man could not please Jesus? :eusa_boohoo: When you prejudge anyone because of social status, gender, race, culture....wealth etc., YOU CONDEMN YOURSELF (Rom. 2:1-29)

God has no respect of person and He is not Bigoted in the least because some people make better judgments/decisions than others and have an easier time in this reality called life. Its the LOVE OF MONEY/WEALTH (1 Tim. 6:10) that is the root of evil.....not the tool that is called money that in actuality belongs to the Government not the individual. Wealth.....like control is an allusion, its fleeting..........the concern is the worship of something that is created (money) rather than worshiping the Creator, who controls all aspects of this physical realm.......we exist through GRACE, there is no promise of a tomorrow for anyone, we are at the mercy of God's longersuffering grace.

Life is to short to concern one'self with making personal judgements based upon bigotry. You can'r prove that ALL RICH men cannot enter the kingdom of God.......there are examples in the scriptures of wealthy individuals doing just that, finding favor with God.

I am not jealous of the rich, i am sad for them. This life is all they will get. James 2:5--God chooses the poor. Psalm 69:33-YHWH(Jehovah) is listening to the poor.
Yes the rich are wealthy from the love of money. They seek money first over the kingdom and Jehovahs righteousness( Matt 6:33)--telling Jesus NO.

You keep repeating the same DEBUNKED BS over and over while adding nothing of substance to your circular logic or rather lack thereof. FYI: This is called "propaganda". What? If you repeat the same rhetoric over and over it becomes truth after X number of presentations? :lastword1:

........especially when you can not prove your doctrine exists within the Word of God. In order to adhere to your cults teachings, you must use your own rewritten/revised text (New World Translation) that was written by men about 2000 years after the last apostle of Christ died, who possessed the only authority to write scripture inspired by the Holy Spirit of Truth.....as confirmed by signs and wonders ..i.e, Miracles -- Heb. 2:1-4.

The FAITH has been presented once (for all time) by the saints of the 1st century (Jude 3). The Christian has been provided with everything that pertains to life and godliness through the knowledge of Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:3)

You reject scripture that declares that Jesus Christ is God incarnate and the 3rd member of the Godhead "For in Him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead Bodily." -- Col. 2:9 You ignore the scripture that declares that Jesus Christ has been given all authority in heaven and on earth and to enter His kingdom one must be baptized (transfferred) into the kingdom via being baptized in the name of the Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:18-20) The Godhead is also addressed in Acts 17:29 and Romans 1:20.

You declare that you are not jealous......then you proceed to condemn individuals from society simply because they are wealthy.... when the scriptures are filled with evidence that God has no respect of person, even for the wealthy....ITS SIN THAT KEEPS ONE FROM THE KINGDOM.......NOT WEALTH. "For there is no respect of persons with God. For as many that have sinned without law shall also perish without the law, and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law." -- Rom. 2:11-12. God accepts men of all nations who righteously fear and seek Him (Acts 10:35)

So......you are now SPEAKING FOR GOD? How do you know when someone is seeking wealth over the kingdom of God...i.e, the church? You do not, you are, in a very bigoted fashion speaking things that God has not included in the Holy Scriptures.

"Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. To draw near to listen is better than is better than to offer the sacrifice of fools, FOR THEY DO NOT KNOW THEY ARE DOING EVIL........Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before God. For God is in heaven and you are on earth............" -- Eccl. 5:1-2.

(Matthew 27:57) Was the wealthy man who was a disciple of Jesus Christ, that donated the burial tomb of Jesus, not seeking the kingdom of God :dunno: whom Jesus told him THE KINGDOM OF GOD was shortly to come during that very generation? -- Mark 9:1

The generation that Jesus said would live to see everything that he foretold fulfilled and would persist for a very long time before his return is the generation of error, the age of darkness, unlike the popular opinion then which was that the end of the age of darkness was imminent.

When Jesus said there were many standing around listening to him who "would not die until they saw the kingdom of God in power", 2000 years ago, just like Nebuchadnezzar saw the kingdom of God in power 600 years earlier (after living for seven years like a dumb beast that didn't have enough sense to either look up or get out of the rain) he was just saying that they in the same way would not die before they saw the kingdom of God has always been in power.

If you can't see the kingdom of God is already in power, you must be living like a dumb beast.

I don't mean just going to religious services but also keeping their oath and abiding by G_ds instructions etc. Charity would be an easy representation, but also their particular works and character. If more public and unabashed, even better imo.
That's a good question! I know a lot of millionaires are, Idk about billionaires.

At some point, some people are getting rich by fucking other people over.

There is no "they" who are all wealthy and do nothing to help the less fortunate. Not all wealthy people ever did anything evil to become wealthy. These are irrefutable facts..

Even if many have become wealthy by being predators or through violence and deceit, there are also many who take the responsibility of wealth very seriously and are and have been for their entire lives actively involved in and committed to improving the quality of life for others.

Thats what Jesus was talking about when he said "use your worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves so that when money is a thing of the past (when you die) you may be received into an eternal abode." It didn't seem to matter to Jesus how they got their money, if they listened.

What makes you think that no one listened then or is listening now?

Whenever the kingdom of God is mentioned in scripture while Jesus was living it's presented in future tense......both John the Baptist and Jesus declared, "....the Kingdom of God is at hand (meaning near/close)" -- Mark 1:14-15

Jesus' birth, life, death and resurrection ushered in the kingdom of God that was yet to come while the Christ lived (....Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" -- Matthew 6:10

The ministry of the Christ lasted but 3.5 years...during that time period He and John (the baptist) had been teaching to the people that the kingdom of God was at hand (Very Close). Without the death and sacrifice of Jesus the kingdom could never exist.....the kingdom of God is based upon "spiritual treasures", not physical treasures that are dependent upon Jesus' sacrificial blood on the cross and His power over death. (before Jesus, God incarnate there are historical examples of some cheating death...but these were based upon individual grace (God found personal favor, because no one prior to Jesus walked under the Law and the Prophets without sin -- Romans 3:10-18)...........with the sacrifice of Jesus, He took upon Himself, not just the sins of the World (2 Cor. 5:21)........all nations would be blessed as promised to father Abraham (Genesis 12:2, Gal. 3:28-29)

The N.T. covenant/kingdom of God began on the day of Pentecost after the ascension of Jesus in the clouds to heaven accompanied by angels just as prophesied by Daniel (Dan. 7:13-14, Acts 1:9-11)

Prior to Acts 2....when the kingdom of God was mentioned, it was in future tense.......After Peter preached the first Gospel sermon in the N.T. church/kingdom of God......the kingdom is addressed in present tense, the kingdom is here and beginning to grow with the 3000 souls added into the kingdom/church on that day (Acts 2:41, Col. 1:13)....one is translated into the kingdom through being baptized into Christ in the name of the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-20

Right. The kingdom of God is "at hand" means here, now. Jesus said to the pharisees that "tax gatherers and prostitutes were entering the kingdom of God ahead of you", before he died... Matthew 21:31. So entering the kingdom has nothing at all to do with any sacrificial death.

The problem was not that it was in the future but people were blinded to the fact that it has always been in power. It was already in existence but they wouldn't see it until a future time.

Jesus' birth, life, death and resurrection ushered in the kingdom of God that was yet to come while the Christ lived (....Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" -- Matthew 6:10

This was a reference to the talking serpent where it was condemned by God as the lowest of all forms of low life's. At the time of Jesus talking serpents were the stars of the roman world.

not unlike it is today with a plague of talking serpents running amok "beguiling" the gullible worldwide, actors and lying frauds being admired by idiots as if they were celestial dignitaries.

"Thy will be done on earth" was exactly what Jesus did and expected his followers to do. Comply with the will of God on earth "as it is in heaven" condemning con men and religious charlatans to the lowest place in society, "lower than cattle and all the wild beasts of the field."

Not in some distant future. Right now. see Genesis 3:14

Prior to Acts 2....when the kingdom of God was mentioned, it was in future tense

You seem to forget what Nebuchadnezzar said after losing his mind and living like a lower beast for seven years.

"And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation. Among all the inhabitants of the earth." and I bet he was very wealthy and he most definitely did not celebrate any sacrificial death of Jesus, eat a matzo for spiritual life, drink blood, or worship Jesus as if he was a mangod, or even one third of a trinity.

The kingdom of God was already in existence in 600 b.c.e., way before Acts 2 was written and way before Jesus was even born. If you can't see or accept this indisputable truth, you may be a lower beast. All I can say to you is that you should strive to evolve into a higher form of life.

Financial chicanery has replaced industrial and retail trade as roads to wealth in this country. The middle class is going away, which is to be expected since they danced in the streets when the govt. went after those uppity proles; they forgot to notice that with the proles reduced to shit they were next in line for the same treatment.

Yes they listened, and Jesus told the rich man the way into his kingdom was to sell everything he had and give it to his poor brothers. That takes love of God and neighbor over self.

Please explain why Jesus prayed for the KINGDOM OF GOD to come, if the Kingdom was already there while Jesus was alive? "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." -- Matthew 6:7-16). Jesus was preparing the people for the New Testament Covenant...aka, the Kingdom of God, the kingdom of the Son. It had not yet come into effect.

The Law and Prophets was fulfilled via the sacrifice of Jesus Christ..........the Law was fulfilled when Jesus declared, "IT IS FINISHED" -- John 19:30 Jesus clearly stated that He came to FULFILL THE LAW not destroy it (Matthew 5:17-18)

Question........why was Jesus Born of woman, born UNDER THE LAW (Gal. 4:4)....and practiced the LAW and the PROPHETS without sinning once before His sacrifice.....if the N.T. was in effect while Jesus was alive? Why was one of Jesus' last acts on earth in celebration of the Passover Feast (practiced by those still under the law) -- Matthew 26:17.....and why did all of his disciples still practice the LAW by preparing for the Passover Sabbath (Holiday)....Feast if the N.T. law...ie. the Kingdom ofGod was in effect.......and if Jesus practiced it..........as an example of the Kingdom of God........why do you not practice it today? :dunno: Truth: Jesus was born a Jew, lived as a Jew under the Law of Moses......and died as a practicing Jew, and He sinned not. (Hebrews 4:15)

If the Sacrifice of Jesus had nothing to do with the forgiveness of sin or the kingdom of God.....why did John the Baptist declare, "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world ....." -- John 1:29 Under the old law...i.e, the Law and the Prophets...aka the Mosaic Covenant..........it was demanded that a blood sacrifice be offered to the Royal Priesthood of the Levite tribe in order to carry sin over from one season to the next......without sacrifice there is no forgiveness of sin, no tranfer into the kingdom of the Son (Col. 1:13) Jesus had to be sacrificed to take the sin of the world upon Himself (1 Peter 2:24, 2 Cor. 5:21).....Jesus became Sin for all the nations on earth.

As the Apostle clearly states with no ambiguity whatsoever, The can be no new covenant as long as the Old Covenant is still in place.......it would be like committing a type of adultery if you attempt to worship under 2 covenants.......one cannot take effect unless there is a death then one is free from the first marriage...i.e, covenant. (Eph. 2:15), and if you attempt to justify yourself under any single precept of the Law and Prophets............you have fallen from GRACE. You make the sacrifice of Jesus Christ of no effect (Gal. 5:4) If you practice just one part of the Law and the Prophets you are obligated to practice it in its entirety (James 2:10)......I am sure your Doctrine requires circumcision on the 8th day as was the law under Moses.........I am sure your Doctrine requires a burnt animal blood sacrifice be provided to your modern tribe of Levities if not...WHY NOT? If you fail to practice even one point of the Law and Prophets you are guilty of breaking them all.

More? Name one soul that was saved and transfered into the kingdom of God before the death of Jesus...i.e, the church given to Jesus by the Father (Matthew 16, 28:18-19).....also known as the kingdom of His (God's) beloved Son, -- Col. 1:13

The thief on the cross? God incarnate....Jesus Chrfist forgave the thief..........personally, just as God personally saved the few in the O.T. while the Law was still in effect. Thus, unless you have Jesus leave His throne in heaven as both Lord and Christ at the right hand of the Father and personally forgive you..............(Acts 2:36) there is only one method to be transffered into the kingdom of God. Be Baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 2)

That's not what the Holy Scriptures declare.........the Book of Revelation was revelation from Jesus through an angel in showing John.......THINGS TO SHORTLY TAKE PLACE via signified language. (Rev. 1) You are attempting to present symbolic text as literal text. The kingdom of God........is the church given to the Christ by the Father (Matthew 16, 28:18-20) which speaks in literal language. You attempt to translate literally from Revelation makes Matthew 16 into a lie.

Are you calling Jesus a liar?-Its easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter Gods kingdom--Pretty easy to understand.
Show me where Jesus stated that it is IMPOSSIBLE for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God. In Fact Jesus had a disciple (Joseph -- Matthew 27:57-66) who was rich and gave Jesus the Tomb in which He was buried. It is you that is caught in a bigoted lie. Why are you jealous of the wealthy and why is this hate in your heart without you even knowing anything about such people in a personal manner? What? are you gifted with the ability to read the minds of others? :huh1: Only poor communists can enter the kingdom of God? And you get to separate the wheat from the chaff? You decide for God who is to be saved who is not? You left out the most important part of the scripture. First you add a word that is not there.......GIVE "IT".........it is not included in any translation.......then you leave out the portion of scripture that declares, ".....with God anything is possible". And you claim its IMPOSSIBLE? Who to believe? You or the word of God? :deal:

Maybe The Sage and The canadian who disagreed and wowed my last post, will care to explain why it's ok to assume that billionaires are not charitable and obedient to God. Weren't Mary, Martha and Lazarus quite rich and very good friends of Jesus?

Jesus and the Apostles partied with a rich guy, and a rich guy paid for Jesus's tomb.

Death is no more (is speaking of the resurrection from the grave promised to the Bride of Jesus, His Church -- 1 Cor. 15:12-14)........When Jesus returns to judge the quick (living) and the dead (2 Tim. 4:1-8).....then and only then will Hades (the realm of the dead awaiting final judgment -- Luke 16) give up its dead (Rev. 20:13).

Everyone will be judged, the living and the dead by the books (Rev. 20:12)....the book of life and the words of Jesus.....one's life is compared to the words of Jesus and thus you will be judged for eternal life (of the spirit in heaven serving the Father...those unfit or not worthy are cast into the lake of fire known as Hell which is reserved for Satan and his disciples (Rev. 20:10)

When Jesus returns to meet His bride...the Church, it will be in the air at the final trump.........Jesus will never set foot on the earth again. Jesus is the first born.........to defeat death (1 Cor. 15:20) Then death shall be conquered at the last trump when the dead arise like Jesus Christ has risen from death (1 Cor. 15:23-24) Jesus returns the kingdom of God to His Father (God) At this time, after Jesus has conquered all and placed everything under His feet (1 Cor. 15:25). THE LAST ENEMY TO BE DESTROYED IS DEATH (1 Cor. 15:26)

Jesus is not returning to establish a kingdom..........His kingdom was established over 2000 years ago, when Jesus returns it will be to judge and to give the kingdom back to the Father when death is defeated.
