That being said, I want to make it crystal clear that on this forum, I say what I want to say. I'm NOT here to solicit support for any candidate, and I won't speak like a salesman, calculating what is best for the commodity he sells.

I get shit in the mail every single day that looks like some official government document warning me how I am in violation of the new ACA laws and I need to contact them to review my options for insurance. I get keys in the mail telling me that I may have won a new car... Banks send me blank checks I can write for an instant line of credit (at 22% interest) This stuff happens every day in every adult's life... it's not sleazy or unethical, it's sales. A staffer repeated a story from CNN which was given to them by the Carson campaign. It made it sound like Carson was leaving the race... that's not Ted Cruz doing a goddamn thing and it's certainly not Ted Cruz standing on a national stage calling Dr. Carson "a damaged person with a pathological disease." And last I checked, Cruz publicly apologized to Carson face to face during the next debate. Has Trump apologized for ANY of his caustic remarks to ANYONE?

Well I am still supporting Ted Cruz in the primaries and hope he can pull off a miracle upset... but after South Carolina, I am starting to accept the writing may be on the wall and we may have to go with Trump. He's not my ideal candidate but I can certainly support him over the Socialist... whichever one they nominate.
Rubio doesn't really have a prayer either.
Cruz will win Texas by 5-10% over Trump. However, that may be his only win. I don't think Rubio can win Florida. Super Tuesday will tell the story... we'll know who the GOP nominee will be by then and it's looking like Trump more and more.
Honestly, I thought Trump would do worse in SC after his comments about Bush and Iraq in the debates. When his support came through there, that was enough to convince me... he's for real, his support is solid. I doubt anyone is going to beat him. That said, I vote my convictions in the primaries and my convictions are for Ted Cruz.
