Anyone expect the fed to hike?

The outlook has strengthened the chance of a December hike...but right now evidence says to hold off for a couple of months. Who knew? Da Joooooo.

No hike until after the election and if Trump wins no more Yellen...thank God

do you support interest rate increase?
Let the market determine the rate....get the criminal morons out of the business.

...and you think Trump will put in a Fed reserve chairman that will make that happen?

BASED ON WHAT?

Trump told Bloomberg in August that even though he always loved low interest rates as a real estate developer, he thought that Volcker was a "terrific guy" who was "doing what had to be done."

What would a President Trump mean for the Fed?

In other words there is not single indication that Trump has any interest at all in stripping Federal reserve of the power to set rates. On the contrary, he thinks it is appropriate for Feds to use these tools to control inflation.

A divided Federal Reserve left its policy rate unchanged for a sixth straight meeting, saying it would wait for more evidence of progress toward its goals, while projecting that an increase is still likely by year-end.

“Near-term risks to the economic outlook appear roughly balanced,” the Federal Open Market Committee said in its statement Wednesday after a two-day meeting in Washington. “The Committee judges that the case for an increase in the federal funds rate has strengthened but decided, for the time being, to wait for further evidence of continued progress toward its objectives.”

Fed Leaves Rates Unchanged, Signals 2016 Hike Still Likely

"We could do this but then that might not make this possible, so we are watching that and will make a judgement at some point if that is significant enough render the path to this no longer viable."

I heard the Fed lowered it's growth numbers again. If true, NO.
