I'm not an Arabic speaker....but if there is one on the board, your assistance is required.
According to this article.....Morsi of Egypt, of the Muslim Brotherhood, was behind the Benghazi attack.

1. "....the possibility exists that the Egyptian government may have played an operational role in the attack. YouTube videos of the terrorist strike raise a serious problem that only an Arabic speaker would detect: some of the terrorists are speaking in the Egyptian dialect of the Arabic language.

2. ...one of the videos shot with a cell phone of one of the attackers emerged around the time four Americans were killed. It shows a mob approaching the American compound under siege, clearly telling the terrorists in the dialect of Upper Egypt: “Mahadesh, mahadesh yermi, Dr. Morsi ba`atna” — which translates to: “Don’t shoot, don’t shoot, Dr. Morsi sent us.”

3. one of the videos shot with a cell phone of one of the attackers emerged around the time four Americans were killed. 4. The name Morsi is Egyptian and does not exist in any other Arabic speaking country.

a. The Egyptian regime’s connection to Benghazi also helps explain why it denied U.S. the ability to interrogate Abo Ahmed, an Egyptian suspect in the terrorist attack.

5. ....U.S. Embassy in Cairo under attack, resulting in al-Qaeda flags flying above the embassy in the place of American flags. According to friends living two blocks away from the U.S. embassy, Egyptian security was withdrawn from protecting the embassy a month prior to the attack – a development without precedent.

6. ...prominent Egyptian dissident Wael Abbas on his twitter account, stated that the people surrounding the U.S. embassy in Cairo were not protestors but “regime-hired thugs.”

7. The Egypt connection might explain the curious statement by President Obama three days after the attack, when he said, “Egypt is not an ally.”

a. "WASHINGTON (AP) — With anti-U.S. protests spreading in the Arab world, President Barack Obama says the U.S. would not consider Egypt an ally, ‘‘but we don’t consider them an enemy.’’
Obama: Egypt not an ally or enemy - Boston.com

8. MB [Muslim Brotherhood] leadership isn’t ashamed of announcing its support for al-Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden’s attack against America. The MB member and Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) Vice Chairman Essam El-Erian stated in May 2011: “The assassination of the leader Osama Bin Laden doesn’t mean the end in the war against the enemies of Allah. The way he was killed reveals the ugly face of American civilization.”
Yet after El-Erian’s announcement of his support for Bin Laden, State Department officials welcomed him in December 2012 in the U.S.

9. According to the MB and Sunni doctrine, it’s only permissible for Islamist leaders to maintain a ten-year duration of hodna (Islamic truce) with an infidel nation. This raises the question of whether breaking the truce was the root of the Sep. 11, 2012 attack in Benghazi.

10. The MB’s duality and hypocrisy remain major war tactics. While dealing with the U.S., Morsi himself practices deceit when he, for instance, calls President Obama a liar in Arabic, and a friend in English. The MB war is fueled and encouraged by the submissive and self-loathing suicidal foreign policy of the Obama administration, which elevates U.S. enemies above U.S. interests."

If neither you nor I speak the language in question.....

....then either of our 'theories' is equally based.

But, arguendo.....

When the story first broke, I was told by someone I regard as inside the GOP beltway that the story was Morsi - the president of Egypt and & Muslim Brotherhood - were demanding the Blind Sheik be released by USA and sent to Egypt. ( like EU did for Libyan terrorist ) and Obama - because it was election time said he'd have to wait until after the election - Morsi didn't want to wait - the deal cut between Obama and Morsi was a hostage exchange. They would kidnap the ambassador and exchange him for release of Blind Sheik - Obama' would save his life! Be a hero - win re- election. win win situation.. no one hurt - that is why the stand down order was given to Patraeus who wouldn't testify to that because he fell into a pre arranged trap by his own CIA with Broadwell. ( his appt was all show anyhow )

So a few brave men disobey orders and run to rescue of Ambassador Stevens. Egyptian MB thinks they have been double crossed by Obama because they are under fire and the entire thing goes bad with gang rape of Ambassador Stevens filmed - beaten and dragged through streets - meanwhile official cause of death from WH is they died of smoke ihalation.

Obama saw the entire thing unfold in the situation room and went to bed. That according to insiders report - don't know if he has denied that too or not. So the exchange never happened because someone didn't obey the stand down order and the Egyptian MB over there to pick the US Amb. up thought they were double crossed and 4 americans died over it. That is the story I was told immediately after. It sounded plausible back then and today even more as Morsi stopped asking for the Blind Sheik after Benghazi happened. Why is that?

FrontPage Magazine,? LOL
Morsi is not mentioned, they are saying lets go forward "Yalla"

I understand why you are running away from my question.....

....there is only one answer, and it verifies the OP.

FrontPage Magazine,? LOL

Jos....this is the kind of sophomoric post one would expect from Sally.....

The story provides specifics that would either verify or disprove the theory.

Is the translation accurate?
Were they Egyptians rather than Libyans?
Did they say 'Dr. Morsi sent us'?
If so....how to explain it?

The story also provides a motive.....

To complain about the source is akin to saying you'd no longer use Arabic numerals after the 9/11 attack......
.....simply silly.

and a damn interesting one. I suspect any efforts to clear this up will be a fruitless as everything else.

Morsi was upset about the video and ordered the 911 attack on the Consulate, right Obamaroids?

all very interesting-----but actually MOOT----the real issue is that
both Iraq and Egypt are cesspits -----and AL QUEIDA ----
and the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD-----are ---essentially ---identical
twins -----Nothing good can be expected from the Egypt or the
IRAQ of today. Syria is pending-----Lebanon is swirling down the
cosmic cesspool --------Jordan's position is precarious

I tend to support -----giving them enough rope.......etc

Not true.

Algeria also.

Morsi last name - Morsi family - MyHeritage

So....if the vid actually says "Don't shoot....Dr. Morsi sent us..." you think it was the Morsi from Italy?

I didn't hear anything like that in the video.

If I heard the name "مرسي" in Libya I'd think Algeria or Egypt.
