Woman dead after accidentally shooting herself with gun bought for Ferguson protection

A woman accidentally shot and killed herself late Friday with a gun she bought to protect herself from unrest in Ferguson.

The woman, identified by police as 26-year-old Becca Campbell, was riding in a car with her boyfriend near some vacant lots in downtown St. Louis, reported CNN.

The 33-year-old man, whose name was not released, said Campbell waved the gun around and joked that the couple was ready for possible violence related to the pending grand jury decision in the death of Michael Brown.

This Christy Martin lived with this violently abusive husband....he told her repeatedly if she ever tried to leave he would kill her....

The night of the attack she told this physically abusive husband she was leaving him...you know, the guy who told her he would kill her if she ever tried to leave him....

What actually happened....

She told him she was leaving him....

1) She stayed in the house with him

2) She separated herself from the very gun you mention...knowing he knew where it was kept, but she did not secure it.

3) She went upstairs........and went to sleep..........in the same house as the guy who said he was going to kill her.....

4) He violently beat her first, then, when she was lying partially concious on the floor of her bedroom he stabbed her in the chest, with the knife he had.........then.......and only then.....he went and got her gun.... came back into the room and shot her.........
