As predicted - Study shows Seattle $15 min wage result is less hours and 5000 less jobs

In real life they can get another min wage job , wh more hours because they are plenty available .
Oh...so now you want them working two jobs? :lmao:

Snowflake - we said they should have been doing that all along if they weren't happy with their pay. Now that minimum wage is $15 per hour and their take home pay is $125 less per month because of it, you want them working two jobs?!?

And once one of these people get a raise , they aren't min wage worKers anymore are they ?
I've been saying that to you for years. You're finally learning! Yeaaahhhhhh!

Yes snowflake...that's the beauty of the free market. You may start at minimum wage, but so long as you're not an asshole, you will get a raise (and eventually a promotion as well). Which means there is absolutely no reason to ever increase the minimum wage. By doing so, all you're doing is creating severe inflation. Soon, the U.S. dollar will be worth the Mexican Peso thanks to the failed left-wing ideology.

Snowflakes must sleep through their economics classes.

If there is a forced wage increase without a commensurate increase in revenue, jobs and/or hours will be cut.

Here you go, snowflakes, from your bible.

How a Rising Minimum Wage Affects Jobs in Seattle
Dishonest propaganda ! Did you think that we wouldn't read it and discover that two studies were cited, that each show vastly different outcomes?? Do you really have to stoop so low to push your agenda?? Guess so.

No stupid . As in a DIFFERENT min wage job. Since Seattle has such low unemployment you can leave job one if your hours are cut and take job 2 at full time .

And so what if they take another job? Now they work 40 hrs and make a lot more than before the min wage hike .

Bwahahahaha! Stupid....if Seattle's unemployment is so low (as you keep claiming), that means there are no jobs available. They've all been filled.

You can always count on a progressive to contradict their own position. :lmao:

Here you go, chief. I can do this all day. Let me know when you can't take any more of the facts.
The city is gradually increasing the hourly minimum to $15 over several years. Already, though, some employers have not been able to afford the increased minimums. They've cut their payrolls, putting off new hiring, reducing hours or letting their workers go, the study found.
You get that? It's not even a full $15 per hour yet and already they are reducing hours and eliminating jobs. This is just basic economics, son.

Analysis | A ‘very credible’ new study on Seattle’s $15 minimum wage has bad news for liberals

So you start your argument off from a faulty premise. And because you do that, it undermines everything you say from there on out.
Well if you know that, why do you keep doing that? Stop undermining yourself, snowflake. Let me know when you can't take any more of the facts.

The study left out large employers. Tell us why.
Large employers who give their employees medical insurance werent subject to the $15 minimum wage in Seattle. The company i work for in Seattle is big and we get medical insurance, so they dont have that minimum wage increase. Fortunately i make well above $15 an hour anyway, so im all good.

Seattle's $15-an-hour minimum wage law has cost the city jobs, according to a study released Monday that contradicted another new study published last week.

A University of Washington team studying the law's effects found that the law has boosted pay in low-wage jobs since it took effect in 2015, but that it also caused a 9 percent reduction in hours worked, The Seattle Times reported ( UW study finds Seattle’s minimum wage is costing jobs ). For an average low-wage Seattle worker, that's a loss of about $125 per month, the study said.
You get that? $125 less per month thanks to idiotic, failed, left-wing policy. This is just basic economics, son.

New study of Seattle's $15 minimum wage says it costs jobs

It's no wonder that every socialist society ever attempted has been a colossal failure.

Snowflakes are fucking stupid about economics. I'd call them RETARDED if it was accepted, but it's considered insensitive and mean spirited to refer to those retards as retards.

See Kansas for conservative economics.

My favorite part is that left-wing institutions are telling them this is bad and they are like "nah-nah-nah-nah...I can't hear you" like small children.

Scandinavia is far more socialist than us and doing quite well.

And Kansas is a real winner for conservatives...
Let me know when they file bankruptcy. I won't be holding my breath.

Well the did just increase taxes after failed conservative policy so maybe they won't.
There is no such thing as "failed" conservative policy. You can't point to a single city, state, or nation that has every collapsed under actual conservative policy. It has never happened and it never will.

Meanwhile, every single city, state, and nation that has ever collapsed has done so under the weight of idiotic left-wing policy.

Again, see Kansas.
