Ask not......

How did that make our country better?
Creating $1.5 trillion debt to give to billionaires does not make our nation better

What have Republicans ever done for our country that does not involve giving more money to those who do not need it?

OK, lets go slow. taxes were cut for every American that pays taxes, not just the rich. A growing economy creates jobs and increases the 401K accounts of working americans.

Your "evil rich" mantra is bullshit. But since you brought it up, how about the Hollywood rich liberals, what have they done for the country except make themselves richer and corrupt our youth with the garbage that they put out as "entertainment" ?

85 percent of the tax cut went to the wealthy

wrong it went proportionately to all americans that pay taxes, and yes, 5% of 1 million is more than 5% of 10K,

how do you cut taxes for someone that pays no taxes?

85 percent went to the wealthy who had no need for it

well you can make that claim, but wealthy people spend a lot of money, when they spend their money jobs are created for middle class working americans.

You have ranted about everyone paying their fair share, what is fair about one person paying 60% and another paying 5%, or 0%. What is "fair" about a tax system and punishes success and rewards failure? A truly "fair" tax (or tax cut) would be one where everyone with an income paid (or received) the same %.

I think your very wealthy friends in Hollywood are very happy with the tax cuts put in effect this year.

but lets go on, what % do you think a person (regardless of party affiliation) making 10 million a year should pay? Same question for someone making 20K per year? What exactly is wrong with both of them paying the same %? Isn't that fair?

Wow, there is just no end to your stupidity. It is like an artesian well of stupidity.

Give a tax cut to the poorer & middle class & they will spend it boosting the economy.

Give it to wealthy people who alreadfy have everything, they will "spend" a small percentage

Give it to well off corporations & they buy back their stock.,

EVERYONE with a fucking brain knows the best way to boost the econimy is to put money where it will be spent.

I assume that there will be a fairer trade deal because it is in both parties' interest.
There were soooo many issues with China that I didn't even know half of them. Besides stealing intellectual property, blatant spying, currency manipulation, steel & aluminum dumping, their support for NK, their unfair in-country business practices, their military buildup including their expansion into the South China Sea
Photos expose Beijing’s South China Sea fortresses
China had a sweetheart deal with the Post Office to deliver packages for minimal cost. There are probably many more sweetheart deals that China has to the detriment of the US, their space program, their AI program, etc.

Let's hope that the new trade deal happens sooner rather than later...

Same could be said about NAFTA yet all we got were minor tweaks and a new name

you need to revisit the "minor tweaks", they are not minor, or tweaks.

True, they are small enough to not even really be called tweaks. Just a new paint job on the same old car

Sent from my iPhone using USMessageBoard.com

prove that claim, give us a cite, or admit that you are just repeating a dem/lib talking point.

Ok.

Here is a list of the substantial changes to NAFTA:

1.

Yep, that is all of them.

That was easy enough.

why do you think that rich people do not spend money? Who buys yachts, jewelry, mansions, stocks, plane tickets, cruises, houses, eats in restaurants, etc? all of those expenditures help working people, the same people who now pay 5% less in income taxes and have gotten raises and bonuses because their employers are also paying lower taxes.

What exactly is wrong with giving middle income working americans a tax break?
What is wrong with giving corporations a tax break that allows them to expand and create more jobs in the USA, as well as increasing the value of everyone's 401K accounts?

I asked winger to post a chart showing how much of the federal revenue is paid by various income groups, he ran like a scaldeded ass ape, maybe you can post that chart and tell us how you think that is "fair".

Unfortunately, they do not spend a lot of money. It is stashed away and untaxable

The working class spends their money......on things like housing, healthcare, education, transportation

untaxable???? we tax income, money saved has already been taxed. Yes, the working class spends money, that's why they like having more of it though the tax cuts, raises, and bonuses, none of which would have happened without the tax cut bill.
Now you are getting it

Working Americans have relatively little personal wealth. Their money comes from labor which is fully taxed

The wealthy have untold reserves of personal wealth which is untaxable.

Nice chart, but so what? we do not tax wealth, we tax income. The tax code that exempts some classes of income was written by the congress that has been controlled by democrats for most of the last 80 years, so if your bitch is with the tax code, bitch at the democrats that wrote most of it. How about posting a chart showing how much of government revenue is paid by the various income groups? Post that if you dare.

Absolutely

Working Americans like you and I have little opportunity to shield our money from taxation. But then again, we provide little input to the tax code. Our income is fully visible. We have fewer and fewer deductions we can take.
That tax code was written by the wealthy. In the new Trump tax code, exemptions were reduced for working Americans. Exemptions for the wealthy were maintained.
The wealthy know not to take added wealth as income......we have no choice

I guess the answer is to become one of the wealthy, or to get the wealthy out of congress. Have you noticed how many of democrat senators are multi millionaires? Ever wonder how they do that on a salary of around 200K? Maxine Waters went to congress with no money, now she lives in a 4 million dollar mansion outside of her district, any idea how she manage that? Do you care?

I guess you could post an unbiased analysis comparing the previous NAFTA rules to the renegotiated rules. You made the claim that there were not changes, the burden of proof is on you. If there were no changes why did Mexico and Canada fight so hard against the new deal?

Most of our wealthy do not make money by producing things. They make money on moving money from one place to another

Brokers already make money on those transactions, why shouldn’t we?
