Assimilation, an OP/ED

LOL. I can remember, not so long ago, when the same things were being said about the Vietnamese and Cambodians that came into this nation. Then they proved themselves to be good citizens, and their children are high achieving Americans. And, undoubtedly, Dark n Fury was one of those making such statements about the asians from Southeast asia at that time.

We have had many immigrants of the Muslim faith in the past, and they have assimilated well. Today, because of an ill advised adventure of our nation in the Middle East, there is a huge refugee problem. And many of the refugees are very resentful of the destruction of their world. A few act in a destructive manner on that resentment. Most do their best to assimilate into our nation, an assimilation that includes the right to continue their own religion.

However, the acts of a few give the people of similiar nature, such as Dark n Furry, a reason to hate all. Just as the Irish when they were first fleeing the famine and oppression of England, were considered by many as a danger to this nation.

Its impossible not to "assimilate," but "control freaks" want to define which aspects of life THEY want folks to "assimilate" to. Micromanaging people's lives is UN American.

There is an expectation that people coming here love America and want to be like us with our traditions. If you want to live like you do in your former country, language, customs, etc., then don't come here. You aren't welcome.

This is vague and undefined, and no, the actual essence of America is that you can think whatever the fuck you want to..... and busy bodies like you trying to enforce THOUGHT CONTROL onto people to "love" are the UN American.

You can love, hate or be indifferent. THATS the beauty of THIS Country. No Govt controlled media to ensure everyone is a good little goose-stepper with what the "valuea" are at the time. Nope. FREEDOM instead.

Except for islam does NOT offer freedom. It offers SUBMISSION or death. And YOUR music? Guess what they got for you? That's YOUR idea of f#cking beautiful?

Honestly, the Democrat party has been taken over by left wing radicals while traditional democrats are allowing them to run their affairs and blindly buy in to their foolishness.

Since when is it bigotry to not want men using women's restrooms because one day they think they're a women? This is madness. North Carolina and Mississippi are doing their part to bring sanity back. I hope other States follow soon.

Those are just 2 of the many states that we should have cut loose after destroying their slavocracy.

When you're in a group of Vietnamese people, You don't hear English being spoken. That's not assimilatrion. I'll give them a few generations, but I expect they begin to drop their gook ways. Same for the Mexicans too.

The issue with illegal imigration is a far cry from Muslims who demand we assimilate to their beliefs after getting here..............We are much farther behind the learning curve than Europe on allowing too many of them in to the country..

You see, this country has been choked down for the last 20 years. Obama is like Bernie in a way, except Bernie comes right out and tells you he is a socialist. The democrats are crafty and change their colors like a chameleon. The party that beat down negro's and swung them from trees, is now the gate keeper to the last of the month pay check.

But times were changing, the Dems realized they needed a more peaceful way to hold down the black man. Instead of by violence, they control by empowering them to feel victimized. But they conveniently leave out the small detail that it was them, the democrats, who laid the foundation which supports the crumbling black society. Much the same way Obama convinced a slim majority the 1% was the root of all evil. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain calling out the 1%, while loading up his shiny jet not for Las Vegas, but for a weekend at Martha's Vineyard at tax payers expense.

Wars solve issues like what we're seeing today. The brutality of war will ease the eventual outcome of the course correction coming.
