This was never a man. She was a woman who thought being male would bring her acceptance in her family. The psychological suffering must have been intense. She wasn't wanted as a woman nor as a man. This is the real danger in trivializing transsexualism.

When someone is so unhappy with themselves that they want to start hacking off healthy parts and or rearrainging them, it's not because they are gay, it's because of some deep rooted mental issue. This person never should have been allowed to have a sex change and certainly shouldn't have been given assisted suicide. Mental health professionals should have helped her learn to except herself. She was mentally abused by her family,that's something, that with work, can be overcome. Even if her operations had come out as she expected it wouldn't have made one bit of difference in the way she felt because she wasn't dealing with the real problem.
