Ben Carson seems to know nothing about the US's allies

Carson doesn't seem to know much about anything except brain surgery. He's a smooth talker though. However, a smooth talker was put in the WH and look what happened.

He doesn't seem like a smooth talker...kind of mumbles

never said one word remotely like that. I said the elderly man singing in that video didn't know the meaning the left attached to the words...and he's not the "original tea bagger"whatever THAT may be...

My position is clear...I have to repeat it to you every time you try to change the subject...

ok..post the Tea Party platform and highlight the policies you disagree with...can you do it without typing "teabagger" again?..THAT'S the question now.

Sure, start a thread about teabagging policies and I'll join you.

Right now we're talking about wacky Ben Carson, and how he knows nothing about foreign policy. For example, he thought the Chinese were in Syria.

Ben Carson says China is involved in the Syrian conflict

He knows absolutely nothing about foreign policy.
LMAO..you spend pages disparaging the tea party and when you get backed into a corner you suddenly want to get back on topic...comical

We're already talking about teabagging policies...Ben's.

run in circles by yourself now..I made my points very well..I can tell because you keep dodging and retreating.

Here's Ben Carson repeating Mitt Romney's lie.

We have weakened ourselves militarily to such an extent that if affects all of our military policies. Our Navy is at its smallest size since 1917

Ben Carson on Homeland Security

The U.S. military is at risk of losing its "military superiority" because "our Navy is smaller than it's been since 1917. Our Air Force is smaller and older than any time since 1947."--Mitt

rulings%2Ftom-pantsonfire.gif

Mitt Romney says U.S. Navy is smallest since 1917, Air Force is smallest since 1947

1917?

Would Carson want to put a 1917 aircraft up against one of todays?
Our ships are just as modern (and lethal)

It's your term. You chose it.
incorrect...the tea party has nothing to do with your homosexual fetishes and fantasies...

Teabaggers named themselves.
incorrect...it's called the Tea Party.

I know..I know..you found that one video of an elderly man using the term because he didn't know the homosexual connotation you socialists placed on the term.
.. latent homosexuals and partisan agitators are the ones who use the term exclusively for disparaging conservatives and patriotic americans...
you socialists and "progressives" are obsessed with attaching labels to people you disagree with to try to marginalize them...I'm pretty sure non partisan observers see right through it, though. It's so painfully immature and hyperpartisan, but that's why it appeals to the left and the socialists. They aren't particularly deep thinkers and they need to keep the base riled and distracted.

I prefer to call you idiots, teabaggers. And yes, it's true that you named yourselves.

:laugh2:you guys thought you were so witty when you called them that so they co opted the word from you socialists and have turned it against you in mockery...it's right in front of you and you don't get it.

They're making fun of you, your deviancy, pop culture and the radical lefts obsession with labeling people

Now...want to talk about the Tea Party platform and specifically which points you disagree with?

No?

I didn't think so.

That's such a pathetic attempt to hide from your stupid choice.

He can't seem to name any US allies in this Fox News interview. It's ridiculous. If a republican fails a Fox News interview, you know he's incompetent.
Having heard Dr. Carson speak on numerous issues I wouldn't want someone with his reasoning skills and mental acuity to operate on my brain. I am amazed by his reputation as a skilled neurosurgeon. I'd like to hear from some of his colleagues and med school teachers. Such commentary is conspicuously absent from discussions of Carson's competence.

There is something very strange about that man.

It is a BS question because they caught bennie flat-footed and he is unable to think about world politics.

Lol if he had a basic understanding of geopolitics, he would know who to pick first. He would know the importance of starting with certain nations over others.
Should he call the Brits before the French or the other way around? How much does it matter? Will the coalition break down if he calls Jordan before Saudi arabia?
Lol it's amazing the lengths you people go to defend republicans. First of all, it's dumb to not pick someone first. Our closest allies, Britain and France, would have been a solid choice to start. Or perhaps pick a country in the Middle East, like you know Israel lol. Not only are they close allies but they have advanced militaries. He could have picked an Arab country nearby and said why that nation would have a strategic advantage.

Even if he didn't believe order mattered, he could have just said "order doesn't matter" but that of course would have been a vague, cop out answer.
Thanks for admitting that there is not a correct answer to the question.
That being said, it was a BS question deserving a BS answer, and Carson was caught of guard.

How the hell is it a BS question?

That is one of Carson's problems with running - he does not think well on his feet. That is, if you ask me, a particular talent that is pointless as president. It is, however, extremely important in campaigning.

I beg to differ, I want the leader of the free world able to think on his feet. Jezus!
Why?

Do you think that a decision to go to war should be a decision made 'on his feet?' Give me a situation where you think that a decision for the leader of the most powerful nation on earth should be made in an instant alone without counsel or is well thought out.

Any decision from the president should be made with time and be well thought out with input from experts. Jezus.

No it really is not absent. It is out there it just is not news worthy because they are not calling Carson an idiot.

I absolutely think war should be a last resort, however, Carson previously stated that he would try to create in international coalition, but in the video he can't explain how.

And that has nothing to do with anything I have stated at all or your contention.
