You don't understand economics very well.Where are you getting this bullshit? These companies are making record profits.
Profits happen first, when the fed raises the rates. Like now.
Then, rate hikes cause cash flow problems, the housing market usually crashes just before the layoffs begin.
The problem with this particular inflation is a big chunk of it is structural, it's embedded. They can try to print more money but it only makes things worse.
Ultimately they'll need to tighten the money supply like Volcker did back in the day. That'll hurt.
