Bernie Sanders does not understand economics

I don't think Bernie understands economics either. But we know for sure Republicans don't. They nearly ruined the world and they think "supply and demand", the foundation for all modern economics, is a "wild liberal theory".

I shudder to think the next time they run the entire government after the disaster under Bush. Could you imagine? If they got the change to "finish the job"?

But running out of other peoples money is not a problem anymore.

Have you ever heard of the Fed?
Have you heard of the National Debt?
Have you heard of the National Debt?

Hell yea.

3.2 trillion from non revenue and none job creating Tax Cuts passed by reconciliation.

At least 3 trillion from two wars that went on over a decade.

Who knows how much rebuilding Iraq after we flattened it.

The cost of taking care of more than 30,000 Iraq maimed Americans costing trillions into the future.

The taxes lost from millions of jobs moving to China from 2001 to 2008.

The revenue lost from the more than 40,000 factories closed from 2001 to 2008.

Medicare party D passed though reconciliation costing more than a trillion.

The damage to our gulf coast decades into the future while some protect the perpetrators.

The cost of rebuilding our infrastructure since it was neglected while our money was being spent in the ME.

The damage into the future because we have been defunding our schools.

See, we know the debt. No doubt about it. We even know where it came from and what caused it. It's public record. Only tards don't know how we got it.

He does understand how the greatest country on earth(so some say) poo poos the working class guy so the wealthy can run the show.

So Bernie wants to take us in a more socialist direction where the working class is simply the masses, there is no middle class, and a true 1 percent that is locked in.

This is the tried and true Jedi mind trick of Socialists. Create economic policies rooted in class envy so that the middle class can be destroyed. It's in the writings of Marx and Alinsky, to name a few. But hey, if that's what America wants.

Evidently he has no clue how collateral works, the man is obviously a few cards shy on the ole economic deck. A home has actual value...a women's study degree? Not so much. The man is running on an economics platform? Scary shit

You have families out there paying 6, 8, 10 percent on student debt but you can refinance your homes at 3 percent. What sense is that?

Do you have an economics degree? Should you even be talking about such matters. Fine for the pub but not with strangers.

So just always leave it to the free market. Like health insurance. We pay the the highest amount by far for mediocre health care and below average results. The market works fine for some things but not for everything. I do have an economics degree. Hate on.

Sanders was merely saying that interest rates are historically low but not for student loans. He wants to invest in the education of young people. Personally, I don't so much, because I'm older and there is no free lunch and I don't want to pay higher taxes for schools that have a huge amount of administrative bloat.

Well, let's take a look at what Obama was handed.

3.2 trillion from non revenue and none job creating Tax Cuts passed by reconciliation. You can't deny that.

At least 3 trillion from two wars that went on over a decade. The cost was not added to the deficit when Obama was sworn in. It was never added to any Bush budget. You know that too.

Who knows how much rebuilding Iraq after we flattened it. Never added to the budget under Bush.

The cost of taking care of more than 30,000 Iraq maimed Americans costing trillions into the future. We don't know the cost. Most of these people were maimed before 2009.

The taxes lost from millions of jobs moving to China from 2001 to 2008. The revenue lost from the more than 40,000 factories closed from 2001 to 2008. That revenue was gone. Gone, Gone. And then handed to Obama.Even the factories gone. How is it supposed to come back. Republicans made sure it wouldn't.

Medicare party D passed though reconciliation costing more than a trillion. Republicans used reconciliation three times under Bush. Do you even know what for?

The damage to our gulf coast decades into the future while some protect the perpetrators. Republicans blocked Obama from using subpoena power. They protected BP over America for months. It's public record.

The cost of rebuilding our infrastructure since it was neglected while our money was being spent in the ME. The GOP still blocks anything to rebuild this country. Why? I don't know. Perhaps you could explain.

The damage into the future because we have been defunding our schools. And the reason they say is because our schools are crappy. So they can't complain when companies with Republican CEO's want educated immigrants over the GOP base.

So there you go. What part is wrong? What has Obama been spending money on?

Obama has added almost $8 TRILLION to our National DEBT!

All for not, the debt is more than we can pay. He's a career politician... Lowest of life forms.

in the past 50 years, the U.S. economy functioned best under which administration?

Clinton

Worst administrations?

Ford, Carter, George W. Bush

You made a lot of statements but didn't back anything up with data or statistics. Do you know how to use Google? Schools for instance. What "administrative bloat" are you talking about? Do you have links or numbers? Do you think health care costs were going up slower before Obamacare?

Obamacare is legalized extortion... Controlled by control freaks

I am laughing! A loserterian capitalist purest saying someone doesn't understand economics? lol.

Before regulations, unions and central banks came into being there wasn't a middle class at all. It was either you were a surf or you were rich! The surfs got paid next to shit and made up 95% of the country!!! Most people didn't have rights in the work place in the 18th into the 19th century and it was up to the boss. Many bosses at the time were ok with truly evil shit like child labor, 16 hour work days and slavery!

If that is understanding economics. Well, you can stick it up your ass.

Also, nearly all of western europe and parts of eastern asia use social democracy(hybrid economic system) and work very well. Many of them making a higher per capita then our country!!!

What country uses pure capitalism that is within the top 50? So much for the op knowing a damn thing about economics.

And that is why most of the civilized first world uses single payer and not our bs capitalist system that allows people to die. That is why most of the world regulates their healthcare system not to allow such price hiking as we do.

Reagan really benefited from what Carter did. Remember, Carter was only president for 4 years and he inherited a deep recession and debt from Ford. Not as bad as what Obama inherited from Bush.

Carter raised the minimum wage. Carter established the Office of Inspector General which investigated government waste, fraud and abuse of federal resources. He passed bills that helped people whose jobs moved over seas. Targeted youth unemployment. He started a skill's training program to help veterans and the newly unemployed.

Democrats tend to help people. Republicans help corporations. And corporations, if they can't find those with skills go to immigrants. That's much cheaper than spending money training Americans who think education is for snobs.
