Bernie Sanders says that everyone has a right to healthcare…

Do they have different drug companies in canada?

A lot of the very same drugs are made in the U.S.

So why are they more expensive here?

Because Canada has a law that limits the amount they can charge whereas the U.S. government is bought and paid for by Big Pharma lobbyist.
who pays the rest of the bill?

The rest of the bill? The company CEO's just make less profit...

I'm not a fan of the govt telling anyone what they can price their product. Now if they want to tell them what to price it for their contracts then fine.

If the drugs are being paid for in a huge amount by government funds... they should be able to tell them how much they can charge.

Don't forget CONgress exempted itself from Barry-Care...the Lords wanted nothing to do with the peon plan.
LIAR!!!!!

Under the health care law, their insurance coverage will have to switch from the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, the group of private insurance plans that cover 8 million federal employees and retirees, to the exchanges created by the law. Those exchanges are meant for those who buy coverage on their own, the currently uninsured and small businesses. Members of Congress and their staffs would be the only employees of a large employer in the exchanges, which are set to begin offering insurance in January 2014.
why hasn't that happened then?
It's 2017, it has been happening for 3 full years already. Where have you been?
no it hasn't.
LIAR!

Health care is certainly not a right.

I agree. Its a commercial product that has to be paid for.

Saunders thinks its a right.

He's a damned socialist who also thinks college should be free.

He thinks every working American should pony up and pay for the freeloaders health care and a college education.

Everyone in this country, legal or otherwise, has had healthcare since 1986.

"The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA)[1] is an act of the United States Congress, passed in 1986 as part of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA). It requires hospital Emergency Departments that accept payments from Medicare to provide an appropriate medical screening examination (MSE) to individuals seeking treatment for a medical condition, regardless of citizenship, legal status, or ability to pay. You're an idiot.

Emergency care ends when the situation is no longer an emergency.

Most Americans believe it's a responsibility of government to assure that everyone has healthcare.
Na, so called government healthcare should not be forced on anybody. By the way insurance is not healthcare

Yes it should. It's called civilization.
No, federal government healthcare is a load of shit and it's only for control over its citizens…
