Bernie Sanders says that everyone has a right to healthcare…

What the hell are you talking about?
Free government shit

I brought up buying drugs from Canada... you said their drugs were shit. I said a lot of those drugs are made in the U.S., and you said they would be taken away from someone else to be given to us. You make no sense whatsoever... are you drinking?
Free shit always cost somebody something… That's reality but then again you wouldn't understand that

What does free shit have to do with the ability to buyer cheaper meds from Canada?
It's not cheaper because it's costing someone something somewhere, free shit always costs somebody something

Correct, Canadians pay less for their prescription drugs because idiot ass Americans pay more. Yep, in Canada a drug manufacturer can charge whatever they want for the medication, as long as it is not higher than the worldwide average price they charge for that drug.

It's cheaper because Big Pharma isn't able to charge more for it in Canada like they can in the U.S. :lmao: Not because shit is free. You aren't even coherent.
You actually believe that shit, specially from a socialist country like Canada. Their free shit always cost somebody something

Ok time to back out of this conversation. You have no argument whatsoever and can't put together a coherent thought. Good luck with that.
Your hooked on socialism, it's a disease that cannot be cured…

WHAT DOES SOCIALISM HAVE TO DO WITH LOWER DRUG PRICES FROM THE DRUG COMPANIES?

Socialism is the reason why drug prices are high…
Stupid GOP CAPITALISM DUH.

The nanny state makes for a helpless country

Someone has to be paying for those cheap drugs somewhere, and it's usually hard working Americans that pay for free drugs to deadbeats.

We aren't talking free drugs... we are talking the ability to buy cheaper priced drugs from Canada. Why is this so hard for you to understand?

Canada gets them cheaper than we do because they have negotiated a better price. We here in the USA get screwed so that the Canadians can have cheaper drugs. That is a fact.

How does them negotiating a better price screw people in the U.S.? Are you drinking the same shit Rustic is? Canada gets cheaper prices on drugs because the government there doesn't put as many regulations on drugs and they don't let Lobbyist allow them to keep drug prices high. The Democratic "savior" Cory Booker is a prime example of this. He received hundreds of thousands of dollars of money from Big Pharma lobbyist... and he voted across party lines against the Sanders co-authored bill.

The Big Pharma companies charge us more to help them pay for the creation of the drugs. Then, they sell them to the poorer countries at a reduced rate. This has been going on for decades. The thought being we are wealthy and can afford to carry the rest of the world.

Nope... the Big Pharma charge us in the U.S. more because our government allows them to. The same government that takes huge donations from Big Pharma lobbyists.

That is certainly part of it. Big Pharma buys the politicians of their choice who then allow them to overcharge us. That is ABSOLUTELY correct.

You're not making any sense... you just said Canada was a socialist country, yet their drugs are cheaper than in the U.S. Now you are saying that socialism is what makes drug prices high.

:spinner:

IIRC, when the idea of buying drugs out of Canada first came up, the Canadian government said they wouldn't sell to the U.S. because doing so would cause drug prices to rise. I don't know for sure, but I assume so. I cant imagine much of anything changing on that front in the past few years.

Buying in Canada Won't Cut Drug Costs

x= we get screwed; y=Canadians get cheaper drugs. Well, that's an assertion without absolutely any evidence.

Trump is president, millions disagree with Bernie…
Actually Tramp agrees with Sanders!!!

From 60 Minutes Sept, 2015:

Donald Trump: Obamacare’s going to be repealed and replaced. Obamacare is a disaster if you look at what’s going on with premiums where they’re up 40, 50, 55 percent.

Scott Pelley: How do you fix it?

Donald Trump: There’s many different ways, by the way. Everybody’s got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say because a lot of times they say, “No, no, the lower 25 percent that can’t afford private. But–”

Scott Pelley: Universal health care.

Donald Trump: I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now.

Scott Pelley: The uninsured person is going to be taken care of. How? How?

Donald Trump: They’re going to be taken care of. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people. And, you know what, if this is probably–

Scott Pelley: Make a deal? Who pays for it?

Donald Trump: —the government’s gonna pay for it.

Exactly Tramp's plan!

Being concerned with society is not being 'socialist', by any rational definition of the term. Not that there is anything particularly wrong with socialism. As with any ideology, it has its strong and weak points.

Whatever "everybody's going to be taken care of" is, BIG GOVERNMENT is going to pay for it under TrampCare.

If healthcare is a right, certainly the more basic human needs of food, shelter and clothing are also rights.

So now that we're going to have to provide all basic needs for everyone else, how accommodating are these new rights to be? Are Ramon noodles acceptable, or am I to provide Rib eyes for all my neighbors that can provide for themselves? Blue jeans or do I owe the local junkie an Canali suit? Is a studio apartment okay or do I owe some single mother with four kids a four bedroom, 3 bath on 5 aces?

These are important issue to sort out.

Or, we can get back to the notion of a free society, where your lack of proper planning does not constitute an emergency on my part.

The louder people talk about their rights, the less aware they are of their responsibilities and societal obligations.
