Bernie Sanders - screw democracy. I'm more popular. I should be the Democratic Nominee!

Bernie Sanders, an independent, not a Democrat, has done really well in states that have open voting. Again and again, other Independents have put him over the top.

But in states where the contest is open only to Democrats, he not only tends to lose, but lose big. He goes on about WV, where the voters were 98% white. Notice, not a word about Nebraska. Mrs. Clinton carried Nebraska.

And now, even though he is behind by millions of votes and hundreds of regular delegates, he feels he is more popular, so he should be the parties nominee. Forget what the voters think.

What that really is, is a glimpse into his brand of socialism.

Republicans practice voter suppression. That can no longer be denied. Even the leadership admits it. But Bernie feels he should decide. That the voters don't even count.

^^^ That comment is a hot mess...are yous smoking something?
You're crazy. It's completely rational and factual. If it were otherwise, you would point out the issues.
Your kind thinks just saying something makes it true.

LOL, so what else is new? Bernie is just another far left wing screwball whose brain occupies a different plane of existence than his body does; just like all the other members of the Democrat Party.

So, because he's behind right now, he MUST drop out of the race. Is that democracy?

Im with Rdean. States shouldn't have control of their elections!
Fuck the States. We need a fuhrer!!!!

But Bernie is whining. A lot. He should have known he was entering a gang bang.

Personally I think he should just continue to waste tremendous amounts of time and money pursuing a nomination that he's never going to get, after all the ultimate objective of our cesspool of a political process is to maximize the waste, fraud and abuse of other peoples resources.

Keep chasing that dream Comrade Bernie!

Remember, if you Democrats make him feel cheated, all he has to say is "I won't vote for her" and all his followers will stay home on Nov 8th.

Bernie's argument is simple; nominate the candidate that national polls favor.

Holy shit, how can Sanders win the popular vote in a state but yet the SUPER delegates side with Hitlery? You are the one that is obviously clueless as to how this theater works......

Context, it's important.

You yourself admit that Hillary only wins states with closed primaries, thus when Bernie says "I'm more popular with ALL the voters than Hillary" he is 100% correct.

Ironically, Bernie is as much a "Democrat" as Trump is a "Republican."

While his candidacy is, for all practical purposes, preposterous, he does serve the limited purpose of allowing voters in Democrat and "open" primaries to indicate their dis-satisfaction with the heir apparent, Mrs. Clinton. I have two co-workers who voted for Sanders this week in West (by God) Virginia, simply to make that point. (Both will vote for Trump in November).

And it is not entirely fatuous for him to make the case that the nominee should be the person who obtains the most votes in the primaries, collectively.

And is it necessary to point out again that rdean is an idiot? Probably not.

Sanders staying in the race is a window into his brand of socialism? What a truly absurd statement. Judging by that commentary it probably needs to be pointed out to you that Sanders dropping out now would cause Hillary more harm than him staying in, which if she is smart will work in her favor.
