The only thing that is really fucked about this country is the fact that you people are voting your fears and prejudices and do not see anything at all wrong with that. It is so bad you people react with anger and resentment to anything that even looks like optimism, how do you expect to do great things when your entire mentality is built on the idea that the country is a horrible place and there is no hope?

Its not the people. Its our horrid govt that we need to run from.

The government is only as good as the people we elect. You keep electing people who tell you the government is horrible and then go do everything they can to make it horrible. You do not expect jack shit from the people you send to Washington. They quickly find out that as long as they keep pointing fingers across the aisle they do not have to deliver anything at all for their home state.

We have been voting in and putting in progressive socialists in office for over 100 years… The only end to that is failure.

Why should anyone give a damn about the self-inflicted wounds of the right? They chose to play victim in spite of their relative wealth and blame the poorest people in this country for their pain after being the champions of outsourcing and trickle down for decades. Now they hijack the left's economic justice agenda and blame them for all the policies they went balls to wall for just a few years ago. It's all an act and I don't believe any of it. The real wounds are carried by the people who endure actual poverty and who are still despised by the right.
