I have heard it said, many voted in Republican Primaries to vote against trump, as a lot of states are like Tennessee, where you simply say what party primary you want to vote in, and are not required to register to a party. It has never been in doubt, Joe would win the nomination.

My question is around voter turnout for 2024 compared to 2020 ... significantly lower for democrats and a significantly higher rate of "uncommitted" votes (e.g. Michigan and Minnesota).
