Despite the fact that it was an enormous vessel it seems very strange that the entire bridge would suddenly just flop over in a full one mile length. They couldn't possibly do a worse job than J.E. Greiner Company. The white guy who built this bridge in 1976.
While I was trying to get information on the who built the Key Bridge, I found an article from 1973, about a law suit against this same company, for the Silver Bridge collapse in Ohio.
"Jerome B. Wolff, executive vice president of the company, is under investigation by grand jury that is studying allegations of kickbacks from contractors to state and Baltimore County politicians, including Vice President Agnew, a former Maryland Governor and Baltimore County Executive.
Mr. Wolff was appointed to his current post on April 1, 1971."
Suits on Bridge Collapse Bring $950,000 (Published 1973)

Not only did this company involved in bribery, but also:
"The company is currently involved in another suit in which contractors are suing for cost overruns totaling $30‐million in the building of the parallel span to the Chesapeake Bay bridge."
Would that be the bridge that just collapsed.
So tell us Flush, how could a DEI hire possibly be worse than these people? This is their second bridge collapse.
