What's so "controversial " about Spartacus?

I think everyone can agree that he's a leftist who truly ruined the tremendous city of Newark. My nephew is living in the city of Scotch Plains, NJ, adjacent to Newark. Booker's showplace is truly a Dump. If you want all of America to become like Newark, you'll want to elect Booker. If not you won't. It really isn't "controversial."
Newark has improved greatly in the last two decades with large investments in city planning, infrastructure and cultural venues. It has always had fine restaurants.
Have you ever been there?

No I've never been there. Like I said, my nephew lived in an adjacent town.

My sister once had to spend 24 hours in Newark after she missed the connecting Czech Air flight to Prague which runs just once a day. Reported back that the food was pretty crappy
Newark Airport food is crappy

Exactly what I was saying. Newark is crap, and the restaurants just aren't that great. If someone is going to Newark, they'd be better off just seeing what they have on the plane.
Again you have never been there
Newark’s Little Italy has great restaurants. They also have Greek, Chinese and other ethnic areas with great food
Iron bound section of Newark has great food
.
And Brazilian

Biden needs two things in a Vice President
Someone who can deliver swing states
Given Biden would only serve one term and is quite old, someone who can step in as President.

The Biden veepstakes

1. Liz Warren: Name recognition, solidifies liberal wing
2. Amy Klobuchar: Can deliver key Midwest votes
3. Kamala Harris: Impressive speaker, black vote
4. Corey Booker: Articulate and passionate, black vote
5. Stacey Abrams: Georgia, black vote
6. Gov Lujan Grisham of New Mexico: little known, Hispanic vote

I would add Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
Biden needs Michigan

Few folks really know Ms. Whitmer, Mr. Biden would be better served choosing Rashida Tlaib, the nationally prominent Detroit congresswoman. Tlaib would be the first muslim woman to run as well, her record in making her home town of Detroit into a showcase is something the voters can see for themselves and the Democrats propose the Detroitification of America.

Since you lost on Newark, let's try it again. You ever been to Detroit?

I agree! And Gretchen Whitmer is only 48 years old.

She's never had a job in the private sector and has only been governor for 2 years. I don't see where she is that particularly qualified

Fer Fuck's sake Rump never had a job AT ALL until 20 January 2017.

Summa y'all seriously need an eye doctor.

/——-/ You sound like the guy at work who plans out how he will spend his mega jackpot winnings —— for the last 20 years.

Trump is extremely vulnerable.
Can he get lucky twice?

Stormy Daniels would say "no".

My concern is that with hearings on BurismaGate upcoming, Sleepy Joe might have exceeded his useful life to the Deep State and they might do what they do to individuals who have (Seth Rich) or could (Jeffrey Epstein) expose them.

1. Liz Warren: Not really likable just Hillary 2.0
2. Amy Klobuchar: Nice person but overhyped
3. Kamala Harris: She could not even deliver the black vote for herself and Biden already has strong black support.
4. Corey Booker: Same response as Harris.
5. Stacey Abrams: She is an idenity politics person that turns off most voters
6. Gov Lujan Grisham Unkown on national stage see Sarah Palin.
Good choice would be Tulsi Gabbard.
Tulsi threw herself under the bus.
Whoever runs as Biden’s VP will be looked at as a potential future President. Dems don’t want her

Don't think you'll find a lot of support on that.

Are the Dems going to nominate another unlikable, unelectable twit?
Yes, Trump can get lucky twice.
That’s the key in 2020
There was a strong “I hate Hillary” vote in 2016

Biden is a regular guy....

Trump is not

He's a regular 40+ year political hack suffering from Alzheimer's.
Are you a doctor and you`ve diagnosed Alzheimer`s in your patients? Biden knows who the president of Puerto Rico is and he knows that people die from the flu. Trump didn`t know either of those things. I`ll take a president with Alzheimer`s over a president who`s just plain stupid any day but you and Putin are entitled to your own opinions. Meanwhile, the red hat goobers had better come up with a better plan to beat him. They`re only embarrassing themselves with the same lame insults day after day.

Not to mention, Rump didn't know Bhutan and Nepal (called them "Button" and "Nipple"), didn't know the UK is not the same thing as England, and didn't know you can't just direct where a hurricane goes with a Sharpie.

Amy Klobuchar. She should have been number 1 given that she is legitimate and can help bring back the working people that Hillary and the Democrats fucked over in ‘16. The fact that you have corrupt, full-of-shits like Warren and Harris in the same room as Klobuchar is laughable.

Neither Warren nor Harris can win working Democrats. They are too wedded to the victim class.

I like Klobuchar because she can deliver the Midwest and is more centrist
Palin? Are you going to admit you lied? Not that it is anything new. And no one is going to take the rust belt away from Trump.

Rust belt?

You mean like Michigan and Wisconsin, where Rump couldn't even pull 50% of the vote?

Of course she is, she's the most Russian friendly.
THIS is how the left rewrites the facts.

You same clowns never had a problem with Ted Kennedy GOING TO RUSSIA to undermine President Reagan.

You lying bunch of hypocritical hypocrites!

You left out the most important, someone with experience in managing dementia! You included the groups Democrats most need pandering. You didn't include anyone qualified to be president. Go figure!

Look at the current polls where Biden consistently beats Trump head to head

Look at polls in key states like Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan where Biden beats Trump

Looks a lot better than zero percent

Yeah, how about those same polls in 2016?

QED!

Question for both Democrats and Republicans please be honest with your answer. How much if any does the VP pick influence who you vote for in the general election? It matters to me some but it is by no means an overriding factor.

I think this time it matters because Biden is looking to only want one term. Whoever he chooses will become the front runner in 2024

We (Republicans) hope you'll (Democrats) do just that! Emphasize that due to his obviously failing health and mental acuity, "I'll only be running for one term, hopefully, I'll make it all four years! If not Stacy Abrams is ready to step up and lead our Socialist country!

Yep, that sounds like a plan!

I really don't think most voters look at it that way if Trump wins reelection I don't believe that makes Mike Pence the Republican front runner in 2024.

Donald Trump, Jr. in 2024!

Americans feel better about their personal financial situation than they did under Obama, Clinton, or even Reagan. This year-to-year number has been rising since 2018 and has hit a 44-year record high according to Gallup’s “Mood of the Nation” economic survey. Gallup reports that 59% of Americans — nearly six in 10 — say that they are better off financially than they were a year ago, which is up from 50% last year.

[...]

There has also been a sharp decline in the percentage of people who say that they are financially worse off than a year ago. Only 20% of Americans are stating that as their financial reality, and that is a record low.

And that was my point.

You can even eliminate Ford since he was never elected.

Carter presided over a failed economy. I remember those miserable years. Onama would have joined that list except his race prevented white Americans from kicking his ass to the curb for the way he prolonged that Obama recession.
