The bitch is a a slack-jaw-lookin' mumble mouth of a toe-jam-funk-smelin' baboon.

I heard somewhere there is no such thing as illegal votes.

It wasn't just for illegally voting, seems she didn't learn too about crime.

Moses pleaded guilty in 2015 to felonies including tampering with evidence and forgery, as well as misdemeanor charges of perjury, stalking, theft under $500, and escape. She was ineligible to vote in Tennessee due to her tampering with evidence charge and was currently serving seven years of probation.

The state falsely gave her permission to vote, then arrested her for their "mistake".

A setup if there ever was one. It will soon be overturned.
They made her file illegal papers?

This woman was only trying to register to vote… because she was told by her perils officer that she could… and she gets Six years

Four Magarats got caught actually CASTING illegal votes. Three got suspended sentences and one got 3 days

Anyone see a problem here?

Were they on probation for numerous other crimes at the time?

She was told by her parole officer that it was OK to vote. He even signed the application.

THEY actually voted illegally...and got a slap on the wrist

No, because judges almost always consider the persons criminal record. Chances are that illegally voting was their first offense.

What a crock

Six years as opposed to three days...and she as told by her parole officer that she could register.

He SIGNED the application.

She's really not serving the time for illegally registering. Probation means a suspended prison sentence for extremely good behavior; not getting in any trouble with the law. If you do get in trouble, then you must serve the time you got probation for.

There were some things missing in the OP link, so I went to find others to put the puzzle together, and here is what I found from the NY Post report:

In handing down the sentence, Judge Michael Ward accused her of deceiving the probation department to obtain the right to vote,
“You tricked the probation department into giving you documents saying you were off probation,” Ward said in court, the Washington Post reported.

Now it's starting to make sense. Nobody ran up to her and told her she could vote, she pulled a fast one on the officials who made a human error by not checking out her lie. We humans do that sometimes you know.

The OP also states she wanted to run for Mayor, so it's apparent she's not completely uneducated. She was sentenced to 7 years probation in 2015. Seven plus 2015 is 2022. She lied to get her voting rights back, and the judge was not about to let her go because some official didn't do his or her job correctly. All things considered, she was charged with perjury, stalking, theft under $500, and escape. Considering her crimes, she got a damn good deal getting probation instead of prison.

The bottom line is she knew she couldn't vote but tried to do so anyway. Because of that, she's getting thrown in prison for the time she could have been serving probation. She's not Miss Innocent here.

Wait...so you and the judge are claiming she tricked the parole officer into signing a document allowing her to register.

Hey dopes (both you and the judge)...that's his JOB to know

And has HE claimed he was "tricked"?

Cause he needs to be fired if that's the case
