Recent info (changing almost by the day and depending upon which health expert one believes) states that the number one factor with higher death risk is having a preexisting condition-for all age groups. Now, that being said, older people have a greater likelihood they have a health condition already (heart condition is a big comorbidity with COVID-19 SARS) You are spot-on to imply age is a factor and reportedly the new info says it's due to that aspect. As more and more find out they've had it and never knew it (continued antibody testing will show higher numbers) and those who think they only have a cold and find out later they had it, the stats that are being suggested now for morbidity will decrease even further.Donald Trump is in the high risk group so that makes perfect sense. Time is of the essence.
The doctors said that the morbidity rate for someone Trump's age is around 15 percent. There really isn't any reason to worry (yet), but if he gets put on oxygen, that is when it will become serious.
