Once you learn about Diplomatic Back channels the MSM narrative becomes almost comical.
The use of back channels, such as special emissaries and personal intermediaries, is very common and has gone on for ages . Historical agreements have been worked out and crises have been averted through secret channels that bypass established diplomatic institutions or communications . In the situation Yates told Trump and his knowledge of leaks to the media AND THE MSM big mouth always broadcasting our moves, it was a concerneven back at that time where he complained about it.
So it would only make sense that a back channel was necessary to coordinate the "SECRET" quick surprise strike against Isis he planed if elected (A Reaganesque move) as a surprise to the enemy who did not expect the transitioning administration to come to office out the gate getting things done so quickly such as that strike.
Which of course "requires" Russia be directly advised, so as to not have our allies in the way that would cause conflict through accidental casualties/friendly fire. Maybe even coordinated with them which of course requires back channels or ask them if they opposed such an act before causing possible conflicts.
This is probably why Jared has no problem testifying, and the fact that he was still a civilian makes this even more comical.

Comrade Trump has surpassed the level of obstruction of justice that Nixon was guilt of. And the Comrade is not even finished yet. I expect his "war room" will add mounds of evidence to his eventual impeachment and removal from office.

I agree that this whole thing is a sideshow to the very real issue we should be focused on: The Russians are in fact trying to invade through this fake news epidemic and other gray ops. This is espionage, plain and simple. It didn't take a week to appear on Muellers radar, and trying to hide communications from US intelligence, with the Russian government who is under sanctions from the previous administration is a felony.

This isn't going to work out well for young Jared, and now it has to be considered that former NSA Mike Flynn knows the details, which is why he asked for immunity, and has taken the fifth, and is going to hold out to make a deal to avoid criminal sanctions

The head of Russian state-owned Vnesheconombank, Sergei Nikolaevich Gorkov, a trained intelligence officer whom Putin appointed, met Kushner at Trump Tower in December. The bank is under U.S. sanctions and was implicated in a 2015 espionage case in which one of its New York executives pleaded guilty to spying and was jailed.

The bank said in a statement in March that it had met with Kushner along with other representatives of U.S. banks and business as part of preparing a new corporate strategy.
