Open air burn temp for Jet-A is 1030°C. I work with the stuff almost every day. Inside the engine itself Temps rise to over 2000°C. In some engines it can reach 3000. That's why cooling technology, and specialized high temperature alloys are so critical in jet engines.

There was no molten steel running out of the towers. Stop smokin the magic weed.
