You want to keep the politicians from going to the money. I prefer to keep the money from going to the politicians. What a pissing match we could have, eh!

Very true...........and the very reason why they cannot be entrusted with captaining our ship. They'll take a short-cut and run us aground. When we look for them, we'll find they
made off with the loot and left us with ziltch.

Corporations aren't 'captaining' anything other than their own operations. They can only gain control beyond a rightly earned market share when they have crony politicians on their side. Anyone, any entity, that "makes off with the loot" has broken the law and is subject to criminal and civil action...unless of course regulations, written by the big government guys you love so much, protects them from lawsuits or prosecution.
Stop living in a fairy tale. When you give Washington power beyond the scope of the Constitution, money will find its way to the politicians most willing to accommodate big business.
