So, I started keeping a record of those who are supporting Harris.

She's a moron and a socialist (open borders, universal health care, anti police).

And those GOPer's who support her are really anti-cop.

What happens now that they have a certified whack job as a VP choice.

I can't thank her enough. I thought she'd pick someone who might dampen out her pathetic record and articlulate a great message.

But she just gifted us something very special.....a reason to fight.

I was a little burned out on Trump, but now it's about keeping her (and more particularly him) out of the WH.

So where does this leave people like Christine Todd Whitman. Someone who still calls herself a Republican and yet supports Harris. Is she really going to get behind him ? If so, she's outed as being a true turncoat. As are others if they do the same.

Harris is a former prosecutor putting away criminals...

Trump is a convicted criminal who ordered his supporters to attack cops which caused death...

They aren’t republicans. They are RINOs and always were RINOs.

I watched Tim Pawlentee (generally considered a RINO), tell a CNN host that there is no way he is voting for Harris. He does not like Trump (and I am with him on that) but Trump is the better choice.

lol, no. Republicans supporting the dems this go around are not in a 'tight' spot no matter what Harris does or who she picked for her VP. They are not 'supporting' the dems but excising the cancer that Trumpsters represent.

If Trump losses again it is going to be the republicans period that are in a tight spot as they lose all political relevance. It is not as though you are going to change, it will be another 4 years of trumpsters bitching and moaning about stolen elections no matter how much power they lose and no matter how much pure destruction they do to the party.

The real question is if there will even be a Republican party if they suffer a 2024 loss. We may be witnessing the fall of an entire political party and the rise of a new one. And that also means democrats are going to enjoy complete political power for awhile.

It's sad that it took this long for Americans to come to this realization. It should have happened after he lost the 2020 election so decisively, and most certainly after January 6th.
Winston Churchill famously said that "Americans will always do the right thing, but only after they have exhausted all other possibilities". Trump has been relentless. Like the ex-boyfriend you dumped and who just won't leave you alone, and is becoming increasingly more unhinged and dangerous.

In 1983, Canadians destroyed the Progressive Conservative Party who gave us NAFTA and an 8% VAT on EVERYTHING to pay for it. They went from a strong majority of 156 seats to 2 seats in the House, and they lost their suite of offices in the Parliament Building - 6 seats are required for "party" status, and today the party no longer exists.

They did the same thing to the Liberals in 2006 after a Quebec Sponsorship scandal, but the Liberals recovered, rebuilt and came back with Justin Trudeau as leader.

As a participant in the Canadian system, it's fucking awesome. I have no paperwork to complete and I never see a bill. I simply make an appointment, or walk into the ER, get treated and go home to get well.

Our system costs HALF of what yours does, there are no copays, on hospital care or doctor's visits. The only pre-approvals required are for experimental drugs.

We had 1/3 of the death and disease that you did during covid, and our life expectancy is RISING, not falling, like yours is.

Harris demolished Brett Kavenaugh in the Senate Hearings. The woman is both smart, and fairly brutal in her ability to hone in on liars and demolish their stories. You should pay attention to reality instead of swallowing Trump's lies.
Last but not least, there is the manner in which the Party has dealt with the change over:

1. We'll soon see if my opinion is correct or not. I don't see your opinion. Will Kamala debate Trump? Y/N?
2. Harris didn't demolish Kavanaugh, she played the race card and her busing story, meh. Kavanaugh is on the USSC, so what's your point?
3. What lies did she hone in on? She plays the race card all the time. meh.
4. What Trump lies?
5. Which party and which changeover? I'm assuming that the democrats stabbed Biden in the back and put Kamala and Walz in. We'll see how that plays out in two months. See #1 above. If there are debates the party is over.
