3.2K savings for us.

Thank you Mr Trump

You know Geaux.........I might look at re-obtaining a lever action Marlin. Years ago, I sold my Rossi in 44 Magnum so I could grab a Saiga...........because 1) it was blowing my shoulder off but more importantly, 2) the rounds were expensive as hell. Maybe get something in a .357 = winning.

Good idea, I sold my Marlin 30-30 as the thing weighed like an anvil. I do have an old Winchester 1898 Lever in 30/30 that is sweet

Holy S***. I need to go home and check all my numbers. According to the OP's link I'm going to save a boat load of $$$.

If you stay in the water, you may keep 20 bucks afloat.

That's an awful lot of jobs about the be created.
LOL.. Never happens this way. And NO Trillion Dollar infrastructure spending. Just the Dems
in the future will reverse the worst of this BS. As we learn what's in the other 900 pages as well. It won't be good. Ask raygoon.
As the dems always clean up for GOP after they robbbb the checking accts and placing their spending off into future debt. As the dems want
to pay for spending. As that's a bad thang. Can't wait for Nov 2018.

btw: Toooo me, all this is about the GOP/DOP will not be a national party in future and they are cashing out. So they can claim wins, that will be canceled in the soon future.

I guess I should have said, That's an awful lot of jobs about the be created FOR THOSE OF US THAT ARE EMPLOYABLE.

The calculator says $1750 but still unsure. I know our federal taxes were going to be higher by quite a bit for 2017 as last kid is gone, no more tuition credit for the first time in (9) years, and we lost the mortgage interest too:banana:.
We both adjusted our payroll exemptions down at the beginning of the year and max-out the 401K's.
Looks like I wont be itemizing for the first time in 30 years also.
We are really liking being empty nesters with a few extra dollars in our pockets.

I arent calculating that accurately friend.
My previous yearly taxes was at 20%, now, per the latest chart, it'll be 22%. That's all.
There was no 20% bracket last year or this year.

As I understand it, you still get the mortgage interest deduction but it caps at $750k now instead of $1 million.

Wife and I are both retired living on our pensions and her Social Security. The calculator says we'll save $1844.
A chunk of that may go to health care, now that the bill takes away the mandate.

MAY, as opposed to the once FORCED PAYMENT. You're not helping your cause at all. Just sayin....

I believe it is called a "lie", progressives seem to do that a lot. We only save around 120 bucks, but hey, that pays for a nice dinner for the two of us that we wouldn't have had before.
